In the bloodsport called politics, words have the most fleeting of meanings, while actions have long-lasting consequences.
Something truly game-changing happened in the Senate yesterday. Due process and what millions thought was Rule of Law went out the window with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, whose hearing was stalled for at least another week.
We’ve reached the perilous stage where anyone with an axe to grind, driven by political, or any other motive, can destroy anyone’s reputation, family and career with unproven allegations, splashed liberally throughout the media, with the help of elected officials.
Democrats don’t care about the law or your vote. They just want power.
A man can be ruined by unsubstantiated claims, if he is republican.

And the Republican Leadership isn’t exactly charging up the mountain to defend Judge Kavanaugh.
I don’t see an end to this...The FBI is not on President trump’s side...They probably aren’t on Kavanaugh’s side either...They have become so politicized that they are basically part of the democratic party (I speak mainly of the management)...
We, the American people, have elected a President who does what is good for America and for us, the people....
The “professional politicians” in Washington do not give a damn about us, the American people, except at election time...They only care about getting rich off of us and sitting back enjoying their perks and graft...

Since Bath Ironworks is in Bath Maine, I would hope that four feckless Senators is now reduced to three. And there is a lot of federal spending in the State of Alaska that could be taken away.

Their unbridled lust for power will be their downfall. Unfortunately, it will take a terrible toll on the American people and could very well collapse the republic before they are consigned to the ash heap of history.

It’s why our forefathers gave us “freedom of speech”, “right to redress grievances”, and the right to bear arms.
Everyone is waiting on someone else to “fire the first shot” (metaphorically speaking, of course).
Groups of snot-nosed liberals gather on every street corner for their ridiculous demands, and we stay home and tend our lawns.
America is only “self-correcting” to a point, then the pilots have to take the stick.
Liberals have been “organizing” for years, they’ve got a plan, and most of all, THEY STICK TOGETHER, come hell or high water.
They know no matter what they do or say, FOX News, and Rush Limbaugh are going to have their say, but that’s as far as it ever goes.
Now, we scared the hell out of them in 2016 by electing Trump, and all the other hundreds of Republican victories around the country...if we let that enthusiasm sag like warm taffy at the mid-terms...bingo...the libs get their way again and regain power to make our lives as miserable as they were during the obama years.
Step up, step loud, and don’t let the din go silent just because it’s “only the mid-terms”. These will be the most important mid-terms in your and my lifetimes...make them count.

I saw it first hand. A psycho intern claimed sexual discrimination against a junior partner. All allegations were proven untrue. However, the man, my friend, lost his life. Really a sad story

I decided to keep my head down at work. I have two direct reports who are certifiable kooks.
One believes everything CNN is reporting about CBF. She does not take time to use any discernment. Claims some old guy crossed the line by giving her a hug, at work, when she was a teenager. She continues to carry a chip and is ready to vaporize any male in retribution.
Second kook is a black women. Both her and her husband process everything through their color. They see every slight as due to their blackness. They went on vacation in Quebec and returned convinced their vacation was destroyed by racism. I explained I got the same treatment. Many folks in Quebec hate the English. She remains not convinced.
