Christine Blasey Ford Testifies She Flies Many Times a Year After Saying She’s Afraid of Flying

I caught a bit of the testimony before they broke for lunch. I was lucky enough to have heard her talk about her lie detector test and how she was in a hurry because she had to catch a plane to go to a relative's funeral I think it was. That hit me right away that she testified she had to catch a flight because she claimed to have a fear of flying.

Before that though, when her lie detector test results were released yesterday or the day before and I saw she took the test in Maryland, I wondered if she had driven back for that & why she didn't have the test administered in California.

Anyway, so much for women never lie. Which of course was a ridiculous claim to begin with.

I’m afraid of flying and I fly several times a year. It’s an irrelevant point.

You missed the point. Dr. Ford had the hearings postponed supposedly so she could drive or take the train from California to Washington DC. But then she flew on a plane, which she apparently does frequently.

And then she testified that she flies all over the pacific to go surfing and vacationing.

So apparently when she wants to go somewhere, she can. But when it is something important, like testifying to the Senate, then she doesn't.

What Dr. Ford showed is a manipulative personality who uses alleged disabilities to change situations to favor her. That tells you a lot about her credibility.

While I sympathize with your plight, the experiences that you relate are very different from what we know of Ford’s behavior.

And why would she sacrifice credibility on such a straightforward matter such as whether or not she was afraid of flying? It seems like her intent, and that of her handlers, was simply to postpone the whole process of the Senate’s advice/consent process on this nomination.

Among all the amateurish stunts the lib dems pulled, having someone hold up a blowup of a yearbook page like it was some major piece of evidence was a real bonehead play. What a waste of the American taxpayers money this whole thing was.

Ford is one of the original snowflakes. Something mildly unpleasant happened to her sometime in the early 80’s and she still hasn’t gotten over it.
