A Bernie Sanders donor makes an accusation from 35 years ago with no witnesses. Democrats pounce.
38 years after Roy Moore did inappropriate things with Leigh Corfman, Corfman came forward publicly to the Washington Post and told her story. Democrats are citing Corfman as proof the GOP should treat accusations against Brett Kavanaugh from high school as credible. Except there are some major differences.
Corfman told multiple people around the time Moore behaved inappropriately with her. Just because you did not read about it in the Washington Post does not mean she did not tell others at the time. Brett Kavanaugh's accuser says she told no one about what happened to her until 2012, when she began to worry Kavanaugh could be on the United States Supreme Court. We do not know, but I suspect she began to have this worry before Obama beat Romney, i.e. during the political campaign with the fear of Romney winning hanging in the air. The accusers is, after all, a Bernie Sanders donor.

I think it’s time to sue these accusers for defamation. They either need hard proof or pay damages.
Of course, the spineless pu$$ies will be scared to death of not being invited to all the cool pot parties the Democrats hold.
Anybody notice how often these stories turn out to be fraudulent? Something about deranged females and their mental chemistry.
Notice how this is stated as fact. Hundreds here on FR hate Roy Moore just as much as Erik Erickson or any NeverTrumper or even as much as the WaPo does. In fact, I just about quit FR over it.
In truth, the allegations against Roy Moore were just as false as those against Kavenaugh, but the latter had more female acquaintances that grew up to be in government or journalism.
Who was it years ago excused a behavior like this alleged one of Kavanaugh’s as youthful exuberance or some such. I’ve been trying to remember the exact words and who it was about and who said it but can’t come up with anything except someone shielding a democrat. Does anyone remember? Seems like it goes back to the Bill Clinton era....
So Christine Ford is a “Prof”, donated to the DNC, and is a Bernie Bro. I’m guessing there is an 80% chance this woman is on psychiatric medication.
Can ANYONE tell me of when in recent history that the Democrats suddenly didnt INVENT a false witness out of nowhere alleging sexual misdeeds, to try to derail a Republican from taking up a strategic office?
Or is it just to impugn Kavanaugh's character? Accusing him of a distasteful, even violent incident from 40 years ago is supposed to make us think he can't be a decent justice?
And underlying (!) the whole argument is the predicate that there is the slimmest scintilla of truth to this utter bull splatter. Accusation is not evidence, nor is it confirmation. So take these eleventh-hour accusations and stick 'em.
This is the worst kind of McCarthyesque, kangaroo court, totalitarian maneuver to hit the political scene since Stalin ruled - anonymous accusers, decades old incidents without witnesses or prior records, guilty until you prove it didn’t happen - as usual the left lives up to its reputation of practicing that which it preaches against.....
Best of all, one can prove that her accusation is false!

Just how credible a witness is anyone the demi-rats bring up at the last minute.
How many times must the American people be subjected to this overt BS from a party that idolizes a man that desecrates the oval office with an intern, a woman that commits treasonous acts, a party that colludes with foreign countries, and attempts to overthrow a legal election.

Her accusations are impossible to believe simply for the reason she felt no reason to say anything to anyone for 35 years and then suddenly remembers clearly how it “all” happened. She is lying. If she had something credible, she would have gone after him a long time ago. This is a total charade and she should be severely punished for defamation.
I think it’s time we take to the streets. That we are fed up with our votes being neutralized by these people. Until we do, they will never get the message and continue this disregard for the president WE chose and the decisions he makes. We remain silent,they win.
Another key Republican member of the Judiciary Committee, Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah complained the accusations were unverified and said the judge had submitted to six FBI background checks over the last 25 years that included interviews with families, friends and acquaintances and never revealed any character issues.
