Newly declassified documents have exposed the Pentagon's plans for an all-out nuclear war devised by the US Army to nuke both China and the Soviet Union into complete oblivion. The aim of the nuclear attack was to completely wipe out both country's industrial potential and the bulk of their human populations.

I also got that same sense. perhaps it's time to revisit the subject of a recent thread on the subject.
ESL (English as a Second Language?) is a somewhat ambiguous acronym not defined often enough in discussions.
They made a big deal of discovering the Kaiser’s plans for invading the US.
But the fact is, every country draws up plans for every possible scenario, doesn’t mean they plan to carry out those plans.
Well, if it starts with Brussels, where's the problem? /snark>
You can bet that the military of any country with nukes has plans in place for using them against their enemies or potential enemies.

Well, the European Union is headquartered in Brussels, so why not?

I had a second surprise this week when the Sun continued to rise in the East.
