” Censorship has become all too common, and if we don’t put an end to it and stand up for the Constitution, it’s only going to get worse.”

This issue has nothing to do with the Constitution.

Is it a real database that Firefox refers to? If so, you could blackhole the url in your hosts file.

I already have Brave downloaded, but use Firefox. However, once someone shows me that Firefox is banning legit news, I AM GONE!

This issue has nothing to do with the Constitution.

That's debatable. 1st Amendment guarantee of freedom of speech and freedom of the press (protected from interference by Congress.)

Is the press then free to block the truth or dissenting opinions on their public sites without forewarning the public of what they are doing, as in the case of Twitter shadow banning conservative speech? Sounds like a 1st Amendment related issue to me. I'm not a lawyer, but maybe we should consult one or two.

I put brave on my laptop a few days ago. I use it in my android phone. One of the annoying problems with brave is the lack of ability to synchronize or import bookmarks from device to device. I just got a new phone and i can’t import bookmarks from the brave app on the old phone. Nor can i import them from the phone to the pc. I cant even find the json file on the phone when connected to the computer. When you have hundreds of bookmarks as I do, the inability to xfer bookmarks is a big issue.

Furthermore, brave doesn’t seem to ne doing a very good of blocking ads. I am NOT going to pay a ransom to stop ads. There’s already plenty of software out there that can do that freely. Its also something that can be done by the user with a little know how. But brave doesnt allow use of these aps.

Finally, brave doesn’t format pages well, or consistently from web site to web site. It does ok on some, terrible on others. For example, i need to use a larger print, but i have to scroll from side to side to read because the margin formatting gets lost in the print size adjustment.

I do like the browser over all, and I do use it, bit folks do need to know in advance that there are a few issues, what those issues are and therefore decide if those minor issues are acceptable.

You’re very welcome. Discoverthenetworks is an exceptionally helpful, informative site

I did not know David Horowitz was part of it

but he IS, indeed, himself .. another exceptionally helpful, positive force in exposing the amazing network of dangerous, seditious and/or outright treasonous persons and their front organizations in today’s society

Alternative configuration to avoid corporate censorship:

DNS replacement: Cloudflare DNS primary 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9 (Quad9) for the secondary.

Alternate web browser: https://www.slimjet.com/?source=sbr

Alternate search engine: duckduckgol.com
