I'm confused. How is this different than every other day in the media?
"The dirty war on the free press must end." That's the idea behind an unusual editorial-writing initiative that has enlisted scores of newspapers across America.
Unusual? That's been the same theme that the media has been putting out for a few weeks.
The Boston Globe has been contacting newspaper editorial boards and proposing a "coordinated response" to President Trump's escalating "enemy of the people" rhetoric.
There's been a coordinated campaign against Republicans by the media for around 90 years.
"We propose to publish an editorial on August 16 on the dangers of the administration's assault on the press and ask others to commit to publishing their own editorials on the same date," The Globe said in its pitch to fellow papers.
The key part of that isn't "press", it's "free press".
. A coordinated media apparatus isn't a free press. It's just a press.
As of Saturday, "we have more than 100 publications signed up, and I expect that number to grow in the coming days," Marjorie Pritchard, the Globe's deputy editorial page editor, told CNN.
I expect it to be as universal as in any Communist country.
Instead of printing the exact same message, each publication will write its own editorial, Pritchard said.
"Please express these talking points in your own words." Isn't that just the kind of bot echo chamber that the media claims to be concerned about?
"The impact of Trump's assault on journalism looks different in Boise than it does in Boston," she wrote. "Our words will differ. But at least we can agree that such attacks are alarming."
Also on protecting illegal migration, protesting the anthem and supporting Islamic terrorists.
Asking for a boycott ?
I used to love reading newspapers. I mean, there is something about buying a paper and just diving in. I was born in 1960. Newspapers have been a part of my life. But if they want to pull this, they are just crapping in my face.
I have no subscription to any newspaper. I cannot see paying to clutter my home with lies and garbage. And then, having to take it out to recycle! No thanks.
And not a single mind will be changed.
These 100 media will be identified as FAKE NEWS outlets.
And some are PROPAGANDA SITES and IGNORE NEWS outlets.
Heading for bankruptcy as well as the trash heap.

The trouble with the media is, they have been so nasty, vicious, deranged and vile in their relentless attacks on Trump that voters, especially Republican voters, are totally immune to any new attacks on Trump. Don’t be too surprised when Trump’s poll numbers go UP after this latest coordinated collusion amongst the media to take Donald Trump down.
The only readers they have left are those who cannot read, but find a newspaper convenient for when they are laying on a park bench and need a little warmth.
So business as usual...
They lack the wit to understand that nobody cares.
The fifth-column leftist media are again showing their TDS-unhinged sedition mentality. Next (if not already) the media will be calling for a violent overthrow of President Trump and his administration. That’s when these liberal rags can be shut down, their owners and staff arrested (or shot if they resist), and their trials, convictions, and sentencing to prison or being publicly hanged can be celebrated by American patriots everywhere.
How will we be able to tell any difference?
