Well, as much as I hate to say this, it’s not ALL Obxxx’s fault. May have made it worse though. Ouch! That hurt!

Obama was just one part of the problem. His clan is totally responsible. He is just one person who saw his chance at fame and fortune using the brain dead libs as his pawns.

The blame for the California fires lies with Jerry Brown and his cohorts in the CA Assembly including DiFi, Newsom, Harris, et al. They all share the blame for those who’ve died in the fires as well as the destruction. Liberals destroy everything they touch, IMO.

The homeless lying drugged out in the streets of SF, human feces, used needles, and illegals committing crimes are all on Brown and his cabal of Marxist Liberals. I wonder when Jerry Brown, Newsom, Harris, and their cohorts in the CA Assembly walked through the feces in the streets of San Francisco.

Shouldn’t the Sierra Club get most of the credit for all the overgrowth??

Just got back from up there-12:30 last night.

Was digging fire lines in Ore.

Its bad. And it is a prime example of what happens because of the eco freak tree huggers prevention of proper forest management.

There are a couple on the northern side of Crater Lake. If that thing gets into the Chemult area and the density of the lodgepole pine around there we will all get to really see something.

I aint going back. To hell with it.

You can control burn buffer zones around human habitation and reduce risk at the cost of poor air quality during the burn (and yes some risk that the control burn will get out of control). Or, you can wait until you get a wildfire and hope you can protect human habitation in a huge emergency situation with higher risk. Then you get to blame the resulting poor air quality on natural causes. Western forests and chaparral are going to burn one way or another. You get to manage risk or trust to chance. Then of course the pols don’t care much about human habitation unless its their own and in an urban area.

Banning clearcutting, not maintaining firebreaks and letting old growth forests go unmanaged, all to please mother Gaia.

My dad wrote a letter to president Ford regarding these same forest practices in 1974.

Agreed. I can’t speak to other places, such as Oregon, which another poster discussed. However, here in California, most of this fires are grassland fires. Vast amounts of the state don’t get enough rain to support substantial forestation. I once accidentally set fire to one of my dry pastures that had been moved to less than two inches. Even at that micro scale, seeing a grassfire take off is a fearful thing. Fortunately, my field had roads on two sides, a canal on the third and a pond on the fourth, so no harm was done

Those coprophageous democrats do it in the dead of night when no one notices.

It started before Clinton, but went into overdrive under him. Continued under G.W. and Obama put the nitros to it.

While not intentionally set, huge damaging wildfires work to advance UN Agenda 21. A large part of Agenda 21 is relocating all rural residents into cities. This isn’t Nazi Germany and our government does notstuff people into cattle cars, but the effect will be the same. Uncontrolled wild fires help to convince the children of rural residents to live “safely” in the city. The government is closing rural roads and letting them fall apart so rural access becomes that much more difficult. These fires play into the hands ov the California Environmental Nazis. Do you really think they want the fires stopped or diminished? They want MORE fires, if anything.

UN Agenda 21 is California’s future. It is being implemented at every level of state and local government. I live in a crappy little conservative Sacramento Valley cow town, and even here in this conservative town, the City Council’s development plan is straight out of UN Agenda 21.

California wildfires are being magnified & made so much worse by the bad environmental laws which aren’t allowing massive amount of readily available water to be properly utilized. It is being diverted into the Pacific Ocean. Must also tree clear to stop fire spreading!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 5, 2018

Governor Jerry Brown must allow the Free Flow of the vast amounts of water coming from the North and foolishly being diverted into the Pacific Ocean. Can be used for fires, farming and everything else. Think of California with plenty of Water - Nice! Fast Federal govt. approvals.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 6, 2018

90% of CA wildfires are started by either human carelessness or arson. A lot are arson.

There is a rumor of Gov Brown having illegals set these fires so he can get emergency funds.
