Trump Tweets “Collusion is not a Crime!”, DEMs Heads Explode

Watch liberal heads explode! President Trump has stated the obvious on Tuesday, just as Paul Manafort trial saw its first day in court: Collusion is not a crime. Indeed, that’s what normal people were saying since like, I don’t know, 2016? Even if the alleged Russian collusion (whatever that means) conspiracy theory would end up to be proven real (not in a million years), it’s not an actual crime, so what’s up with that?

Moving along with our story, Trump masterfully took control over the left’s news cycle today via Twitter, obviously:

The context of today’s tweet is this:

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1023662510371741696

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1023664624259014656

Leftist took President’s tweet as an admission of collusion of sorts. Don’t ask me why, I cannot understand how the progressive (hive) mind works. What no one’s talking about is that Paul Manafort trial is a joke. Why? Well, Rosenstein himself cleared Manafort of these charges 8 years ago!

Someone really does need to get Trump to understand message discipline.

As frustrating as the long, drawn-out Mueller debacle has been, I think the general public (aside from the small number of rabid lunatics) is fully seeing how corrupt the judicial system has become. We’re having Stalinist show trials over things which are not crimes. No one wants to live in a country like that.

Meanwhile, Trump is showing incredible forbearance to allow the system to work according to the laws. He’s not firing people. He’s not pardoning people. Yes, it’s frustrating, but Trump is showing that he follows the Rule of Law.

The Democrats clearly engage in lawfare and believe that the ends justify the means. That scares most people.

His message discipline is fine. Trolling Democrats is his thing and he gets a lot of mileage.

from James Murdoch’s Sky UK:

1 Aug: Sky News UK: The Trump-Russia investigation explained
Whatever is or isn’t revealed, the question is whether Washington will be willing to accept the results, says Cordelia Lynch.
By Cordelia Lynch, US correspondent
The Mueller probe has so far resulted in 191 criminal charges against 32 people and three Russian companies.
They include charges of conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct justice, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, bank fraud, obstruction of justice, aggravated identity theft, failure to report foreign bank accounts, and tax fraud.

The most detailed accusation against the Russians for meddling in the 2016 election came with the indictment of 12 Russian intelligence officers. They are accused of hacking the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton presidential campaign.

***Donald Trump continues to question the integrity of the investigation, tweeting on Tuesday: “Collusion is not a crime.”...
https://news.sky.com/story/the-trump-russia-investigation-explained-11455893

what a nasty piece of work this video is, with not a hint of Clinton/DNC/GPS Fusion/Steele dossier/FISA warrants/Mueller’s Dem team, etc:

Youtube: 12mins39secs: Sky News UK: Will Putin be Trump’s downfall?
Reporter: Cordelia Lynch
http://newsvideo.su/video/9133577

Sky UK had another piece today - and never put the guy’s name on the screen, but it said he was from Austin, Texas.
he kept saying stuff like the wall is now closing in on Trump blah blah.

remember too that Murdoch took Fox News off cable in the UK, for a phony reason, just when Hannity/Sara Carter/Gregg Jarrett/Fitton & the rest were totally blowing open Spygate.

why would anyone take the only channel in the world, scooping all others on the biggest political scandal in US history, off the air anywhere, much less in Britain?

was it to protect Britain’s involvement in Spygate?

Why?

President Trump uses TWEETS to keep the opposition angry.

Angry people can not think or plan they react. When they do they make mistakes.

It is to the point that anything President Trump does they are violently against. They are unable to put up a reasonable argument against him. It is all emotion.

So how is this all playing out in mid America? Americans are supporting the President, and some Democrats are changing sides.

How is all going to play out when Mueller presents his report? No one (other then the hard left)is going to believe it.

Meanwhile President Trump is slowly getting his policies in place and conservative judges on the courts.

So tweet away Mr. President.

The new thing is conspiracy because it is a crime and can be anything the Deep State wants it to be.

“The new thing is conspiracy because it is a crime and can be anything the Deep State wants it to be.”

I suspect the founding fathers would have been concerned about “conspiracy” being a federal crime. I recall they were involved in a rather large conspiracy in the 1770’s and early 1780’s.

What is conspiracy? If my neighbor and I are sitting on my patio talking about removing Obama from office is that a conspiracy? What danger does that represent to the Republic? If I talk to my wife about not paying taxes or moving my banking to an offshore account, one might consider that a “conspiracy” but if I take no action to do anything illegal should that be a crime? If I move my funds offshore with the intent of hiding my money but have second thoughts before I make the move and file the IRS required paperwork to make the transaction “legal” I have potentially engaged in a conspiracy but I haven’t committed a crime? Should the government be able to send me to jail for thinking about committing a crime but not actually doing it?

The only purpose served by making “conspiracy” a crime is giving government a tool to arbitrarily persecute citizens it cannot prosecute for real crimes. Anyone who believes in liberty should support removing “conspiracy” as a crime.

I was on a federal grand jury once and your scenarios aren’t that far off. They used it as a tool to get people who they couldn’t get for anything else. It is like “lying” to the FBI, I swear they’d get you for saying you had a Big Mac when in fact you forgot you got a 1/4 pounder that day.
