He's a very funny guy, whether on TV in ?Frasier, on Broadway in a variety of shows from Curtains to Spamalot to the recent revival of Hello Dolly.

I remember David Hyde Pierce verbally smacking down George Clooney for cracking jokes about Charlton Heston’s Alzheimer’s affliction. David’s father and grandfather also suffered from the disease. He earned some respect from me for that. My grandmother suffered from the disease as well.
