As you may already know, Michael Cohen just ruined his career and proved to be a real shyster lawyer after releasing an unethical recording of a private conversation with Trump (then his client), to CNN of all places. Trump’s response was predictable and very common sense:

Inaccurate article. The tape was not about Stormy Daniels.
CNN uses everything to discredit Trump to feed their hungry hate Trump audience. The companies advertising on CNN must be targeting weak minds. The theme is “Keep Trump Hate Alive.” Any progress for the country is swept under the CNN rug.
The media is the deep state.
I am not convinced Trump and Cohen aren’t playing the media.

Indications at this point are that Cohen has really screwed the pooch.

Do we know who leaked the tape? Was it definitely Cohen? Or could it have been the DOJ?
He is a total rat. What a typical New York Lawyer.Total weasel. He needs to be disbarred immediately. You cannot do what he did . It was a blatant violation of the canons of ethics. But the good news is it didn’t prove crap.NOTHING BURGER!!
I agree there’s more to this story than meets the eye. I read somewhere a while back that Trump was Cohen’s only client ... so he’s not even a real lawyer anyway.
People forget that before Trump became President Michael Cohen was a registered Democrat.

Back in the 80s the DEA, FBI, ATF and IRS had a meeting with four Texas lawyers. No one knows what took place except all four lied on the witness stand, under oath, and admitted to crimes that destroyed their careers, all to help the feds destroy a man they wanted to destroy. Fortunately the jury didn’t buy it.
Another Cohen tape is between him and Chris Cuomo where he said he paid Stormy the money “on his own.” He told Fredo that he wasn’t being recorded and the recorder was in “the drawer.”

I’ll never use the word “cash” in any context in front or behind or beside a lawyer.
It seems there are many in the GOP leadership who are too lazy to fight back. They do not feel like working too hard.
They just talk a good game and milk the system.
Cohen said he was getting ‘financing’ so Trump asked wait, why did he need financing. One could then suppose the reason Trump then said, ‘don’t pay with cash’ immediately tied back to his surprise over Cohen’s ‘financing’ comment more than any other context. (Financing implying obtaining cash).
Cohen was on an expenses-plus retainer with Trump. The transaction, had it occurred, would have been between one corporation (the one being set up) and another (the magazine), not directly to any one person. So of course any transaction would be ‘pay by check’ same as Trump paid Cohen’s billings - by check. And, unlike car dealerships where you don’t get the car until you pay the cash, in business it’s common to purchase something and then take terms to pay - 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc. not an immediate gotta-get-financing-to-pay-this-very second deal.
So the financing comment was the weird part of the tape, not the cash part.

they are not lazy. they are simpatico with the other side. they lie to keep their base happy.
That may be, but the journalist made a serious and obvious error.
I’m complaining about the lazy, inaccurate quality of the writer of this article.
The poster is suspect ... anything to run down Trump pretending to be ‘concerned’.
