To kick it off.
Anyone know what it feels like to be told you will be shot one by one?
Thank you both. Things are a little surreal.
Be sure to call the police to make sure your car is released. I got caught up in the attack on the Mohammed cartoon contest and it took them forever to release the vehicles.
None of my business but do you take some kind of sleep meds? I know I would have to take one for many nights if this happened to me.
Talk this out as long as you want here. I think it will help you go thru the night.
>>>Any regrets about not carrying concealed?<<<
First of all, that is a really stupid question to be asking the Poster at this point in time.
Secondly, this happened in Los Angeles. Getting a Concealed Carry Permit there is about as likely as finding a Unicorn Breeder.
I admire you for being able to tell your story so soon after the event. You are stronger than you know....but being in shock is very understandable. The police may have some kind of victim counselor that could help you = that or a pastor or someone like that who could comfort you.
Again, praise GOD that you were not shot. I cannot imagine going through something like this. You have my love and prayers.
You are correct. In Los Angeles you must be actually shot dead before you earn a CC permit.
You know they didn’t kill him because he wasn’t white.
You also know they will put him in prison then Jerry Brown will let him out. I think he has let out quite a few.
He crashed his car outside TJs, so that was the shooters car.
Agree with our other FRiends here. If you are alone tonight, use us as your therapy to talk it out.
Thanks for that link.
You are in my most tender thoughts and prayers that you quickly get over this, and that you have peace in the near and far future dealing with this.
Babies were in there too. Yikes.
2) This sort of thing is a big part of why I carry whenever possible. Stuff happens ...
I’ve kissed death as a teenager and a second time a few years ago.
There was no FR 40 years ago. But the recent encounter destroyed by cell phone so I couldn’t check in. But I smoked the best cigar ever while anchored and totally elated that I survived...
I have yet to experience delayed stress — with the exception of getting the occasional migraine...
Question if you feel like telling me....what kind of gun did he have?
I couldn’t’t see the whole thing. He kept pulling it and and sliding it in his clothes .... nickel plated looked like.
Does NOT sound like the least bit of fun, to me. Glad you’re OK.
I kept thinking it was going to be over in minutes surely. Then it went on forever!
