There is nothing good about it at all.
People need to fight diabetes, not waste time being SJW’s.
I’m 54 and it has really lowered my quality of life.
I wish I had learned earlier that I had it so that I could better fight it.
Everyone should get an A1c test at the doctor with their check up.
Just checking urine for sugar is not reliable.
It does not always come with being overweight either, people need to know that too.

I've been at both of those weights and I can tell you she's a lying sack o' shit.
138 is the perfect weight for me, and 24 lbs or even 15 more changes everything. It changes the way you walk (i.e. lumber), the way you feel about yourself, it makes you angry that you let yourself get that heavy, depressed over how you look and nothing fits anymore, no motivation.
As Margot Asquith once told Anita Loos, "Never get fat, dear child. Fat smothers anybody's vitality." That may not be true for some, but it absolutely was for me.
