The thank-you note is a very underrated yet effective tool to give a good candidate an edge. Something else that can boost a candidate’s likelihood of being hired is the ability to pass a drug-screening. This should be a slam-dunk, but many employers are citing this as an obstacle in filling positions. More opportunities for those who stay clean.
