Congress is finally closing in on the biggest perpetrator of the Trump-Russia election collusion hoax: the American news media.
After taking an eight-year break from its vital role as the executive branchs watchdog, the media have been on a frenzied, anti-Trump bender since 2016. Every conspiracy theory, every rumor, every dubious source has been chased down and breathlessly covered by once-credible news organizations. (This shameful interview on CNN with a drunken former Trump campaign aide could be a new low in journalism.)
Despite sanctimonious protestations that the media are notas President Trump suggeststhe enemy of the people, their collective conduct before and during his presidency has been disgraceful and borderline subversive. The elite press is complicit in one of the greatest political scandals of all-time: How the Obama administration concocted the tale that Donald Trumps campaign was working with the Russian government to influence the 2016 presidential election.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) now is asking his congressional colleagues to compel open testimony from several people suspected of working as conduits between the Justice Department and the media to facilitate the Trump-Russia narrative.

Maybe it’s time Congress convenes a Select Committee on Mass Media to investigate the journalistic equivalent of price-fixing.
Their targets would be not just the overtly biased dinosaur media, but evolving tech giants like Fakebook, YouBoobtube, Twister, et. al..
Lay bare the abuses these crooks regularly indulge and show people the ugly, squirming mess of left-wing extremism that boils beneath the surface of these so-called merchants of truth.

College “journalism” today teaches cub reporters to “make a difference” by relentlessly pushing the democrat/liberal agenda, whatever it happens to be at the time.
They are succeeding with that education.
Just read almost any college or University student newspaper as proof of what student propagandist “reporters” are doing.
Informative post. I suspect the great, unsaid fear among our enemies is the obvious. All threads to this web of corruption entangle senior rats and Obama.
