Not all the lunatics are in the asylum. Why? Because federal prison officials are providing needles to prisoners so they can inject themselves with illegal drugs. Now, Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, is being criticized for damning the use of injection sites in prison and in Canadian cities. Condoning drug use is the most illogical way to combat North America’s opioid epidemic. But what else would work?
The drug problem is like a cancerous growth that kills, not just people. Look at what has happened in Mexico and Columbia. Drug lords have amassed so much money they can bribe politicians, lawyers and the police. In effect, if not eliminated, illegal drugs can eventually destroy society as surely as malignancy kills patients. But will we ever learn from history?
If someone wants to run an injection site, way out in the some rural valley away from civilization and urban life...to just ‘dump’ the junkies out of our lives, then I don’t have a problem with it. Ought to be just a one-way bus to go as far north in Canada as possible and dump these folks there.
The hard left and bleeding heart “progressive conservatives” are destroying Toronto. Serious violence used to be isolated to a few neighbourhoods, but the gang bangers and addicts are taking their act to some of the wealthier and popular areas of the city. Who wants to run a gauntlet of strung out druggies on their way to a restaurant? And do you want your kid attending a major downtown Toronto university (Ryerson) that’s next to a “safe” injection site?

Problem is that the lefties will ALWAYS have the: “ But... but... what about your druggie brother Rob?” card to toss out at Doug.
