I’ve posted this meme before – it’s one of my favorites. (I would give credit to the person who created it, but I don’t know who that is.)
This article from Fox News descrbes a real life example of the meme in action. You can even see it in the security video at the link (which can’t be embedded here.)
And please note that the trigger was never pulled. Just showing the gun was enough to scare the bad guy away.
In the video, the guy is clearly pissed off that the woman had a gun.
This is real female empowerment in action, and I can’t understand why anyone who calls themself a feminist would be against it.
If anyone here opposes the use of a gun in this particular instance, then please offer an alternative (in the comment section) for what the innocent people should have done instead. And please keep in mind that during the several minutes it takes for the police to respond, this scumbag could have killed this innocent person.
When your abusive ex is beating you up, you should waive...
a) a Restraining Order in his face.
b) a 9mm in his face.
A horrific case in NJ which an abused woman had a restraining order for an abusive ex applied for a gun permit. She was murdered by him. The application never made it anywhere. I can't wait to live this cesspool state.
Then there is this Texas Mama bear stopping a carjacker:
I proceeded to jump in my backseat and told the gentleman to stop, to get out the car. He would not get out of the car. He turned around and looked at me. I reached over the armrest to get my glove compartment and thats when I fired at him once I got the gun from my glove compartment, Booker-Hicks recalled to the news station
” I can’t wait to live this cesspool state.”
Whats stopping you ? Living in NJ is dangerous to your health. You should be packing a backpack and walking to the border.
I left CT and I lost everything. I wasn’t going to let the value of my stuff trump the value of my family. I packed my car and we left. Still have family and friends there who won’t leave because they will pull a loss on their home and work. It’s been almost 10 years now and these people continue the hurt while my life has completely turned around and I’m enjoying being alive again. It took about 6 months for me to forget all the stuff and the $65/hour jobs.
I get why people stay or why it takes forever for them to leave, but I don’t respect it. Most cite pensions, retirement needs to be in that state. When you do you are putting the value of that stuff above the value of the things that you always thought mattered. We like to say that nothing is more important than our family, our freedom and our rights yet everyday I see these same people toil along in unamerican, communist states throughout the northeast because of lucrative retirements, pensions or just high wages.
Everyday we prove who we are, what we find important and who we really love.
Leave NJ now. There is no clean way to do it where you make out on all fronts.
Never have so much stuff you’re married to it! Hold onto ‘things’ lightly.
sorry nothing there than any leftist cares about ....
I love to get out of here too but the wife and I are nearing retirement(we might be able to retire that is) and we’re frankly just too up in years.
The photographer and creator of the meme is Oleg Volk. He has created quite a few around this topic and is a really good guy as well.
Thank you. Someone else already left a comment on my blog, and I added the credit to my blog entry. Thanks to you as well.
