Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Maxine Waters gets her way in Flyover Country.: Some guy in San Antonio named Kino Jiminez is looking for work today. He lost his job at a bar called Rumble after he was filmed assaulting a teenager at a local Whataburger (good choice!) for having the temerity to wear a “Make America Great Again” cap.
In addition to stealing the kid’s cap and verbally abusing him, Mr. Jiminez also threatened him physically and threw a soft drink in his face. Being a liberal idiot, he was no doubt shocked that he ended up getting fired by his employer after the video of his assault went viral on social media.
And why wouldn’t he be? After all, a member of congress can get up and incite exactly this sort of behavior in public, have her despicable rant end up on national television and nothing happens to her. Ol’ Kino was just taking direction from his betters, after all, right?
So Mad Maxine’s getting her way, even out here in Flyover Country.
And speaking of Mad Maxine getting her way, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, fresh off of being accosted in a Washington, DC restaurant a few days ago, resigned from his office on Thursday, citing “unrelenting attacks” from the left and the fake news media on himself and his family.
Pruitt has done a great job of reining in the most abusive agency in the entire federal government during his year and a half on the job, but he has been beset by unending “scandals” – many fake, some real – over his personal behavior in office. Late last year, the fake news media and their Democrat wards determined that Pruitt was ethically challenged and decided to mount a focused, coordinated campaign to run him from office, which is what the media and the Democrats always do whenever an effective conservative is running the EPA.
Unfortunately, Pruitt gave them a little rope to work with, and they wrapped it around his neck and kept squeezing until the pressure became too much to bear. Adios, Mr. Pruitt.
Things won’t be any easier for Pruitt’s successor, Anthony Wheeler. Before the ink had dried on Pruitt’s resignation letter, fake news media outlets like Newsweek and the Associated Press were out in force with their first shots across the bow in their war on his character as well.
Where Pruitt had sued the EPA dozens of time while serving as Oklahoma’s Attorney General, Wheeler spent time as a lobbyist for a coal company and also as a staffer for Oklahoma Senator and fierce EPA critic James Inhofe, a truly great man who is of course utterly detested by the the Climate Change hoaxers. Having worked for Inhofe, who has himself been the subject of unending assaults on his character from the global warming lobby for decades, means Wheeler is no stranger to the sort of treatment he is about be subjected to.
Thus, the hilarious outcome for the Climate hoaxers is that they may have “won” a battle with Pruitt, but their war to regulate the U.S. economy into submission through the EPA isn’t going to get any easier with Wheeler taking the reins.
All of which brings me around to this morning’s overriding point, which is that, thanks to the radicalization of the Democrat Party, our country is in danger of losing all notion of public civility. There are no longer any adults serving in leadership roles in the Democrat Party or in the fake national news media that serves as their propaganda arm, and that is ultimately a danger to the nation’s survival.
The refusal by anyone in a position of authority within the Democrat Party to discipline Maxine Waters for her clear, repeated public incitements to violence is one of the saddest disgraces in American political history. Likewise, the refusal of our fake news outlets to call the Democrats to account for their putrid behavior is equally disgraceful and just one more bit of proof – as if we needed any more – that the media has consciously and intentionally abandoned its intended role as the watchdog for the public interest.
Absent that watchdog, the political party with no adults in the room will only continue to ramp up its efforts to destroy civil discourse in our society, because they believe they cannot win back political power through civil behavior. The Democrat Party has obviously determined that the only way for it to ever regain a majority status in this country is through violence. They’ve lost the arguments, so the arguments must end.
Throughout world history, this has always been the natural progression fascist socialism has taken, and sadly, the Democrats have fully embraced fascist socialism at this point. The proof is there every day in their public statements and the actions they take. So long as there is no political price to be paid for this increasing subornation of violence, no real news media willing to call them out for this anti-social behavior, this will only continue to escalate.
Conservatives have spent most of the last 20 months snickering about the #Resistance and all the silly sloganeering and public demonstrations surrounding it. But the time for snickering is past: the #Resistance is real, and it is growing bolder and increasingly violent because there are no longer any adults on the American left willing to put any brakes on it.
Just another day in the Democrat Party hates this country America.

Much of socialism works hand in glove with crony capitalism.
Hitler’s Nazis worked with Krupp and Benz and Siemens. All current capitalist companies.
Failure? Yes. For the governments. But the companies made it through.
Lenin said the goal of socialism is communism. When that happens you get Venezuela. A country full of natural resources where the people are dying of starvation.
Not trying to say anything good about socialism. Just stating what is.
American capitalism should be the model for the world. But it’s not.
There is an Idiocracy in most of the world that can’t handle it. Brilliant scientists can’t put together 2+2 and get 4. They forget their science when talking about human things…can’t see the correlation between humans who will work harder if they get a bigger slice of the pie. Amazing!

I think the answer isn’t that simple.
After WW1 the Germans were humiliated by the treaty of Versailles. Hitler tended to give the population back it’s self esteem. What they did with it was wrong.
There was a socialist contingent in the Nazis. That was the SA. The brown shirts led by Ernst Rohm. Hitler had Rohm executed and the SA’s power was replaced by the SS. The nation was still socialist it with a strong influence by crony capitalists
The people in Germany who backed the regime, especially after the sudaten land and Alsaice Lorraine were taken back as German areas gave the people a sense of pride. Before that the Nazis were a minority party.
Western Europe at the time was strongly in the socialist camp, as it is now.
They embraced it decades ago.
Trump forced them to admit it.
