World Socialists Unite! We’re All One Big Family.

Just a quick observation regarding the Mexican election: I can only assume Mexico likes America as they encourage so many of their citizens and foreign visitors passing through to move here. Why then did they elect a Socialist sworn to make Mexico more like Venezuela than America?

Mexico’s AMLO (Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador) Sweeps to Power in Historic Left-Wing Landslide.

MAKE MEXICO VENEZUELA AGAINNot necessarily a winning strategy in the long run

I think it must be the same game plan that Democrats have to Re-Make America. Socialism first, details to follow.

We are going to have to build that wall. Imagine Mexico going down the path of Venezuela...

We’re gonna need a bigger wall.

Now that Mexico has chosen to go socialist, it’s more important than ever to close the borders. For too long the USA has made up for Mexico’s economic failures. That has to stop. Let the Mexicans enjoy the fruits of their vote, as they shut down businesses, seize their assets (”nationalizing”), and redistribute the wealth that remains. Meanwhile, the hard-working producers will flee Mexico, making the situation even worse.

Not a cent of aid. They voted. They chose. They take the consequences.

Met a Canuk couple last night at a local izakaya (bar)..

Friendly as can be (as tourists; I ended up being a translator).

All was well until (and I knew this was coming...), they (actually, the 6’5” husband.. the wife was actually from the UK, and kept telling the husband to keep politics out of it.. she backed me ;^)) mention Trump, and the problems that ‘Trump’ has caused.
I backed my way out of the conversation carefully since I live in the building that the owner of the bar runs ( >.<)...

Anyway, he started telling me that U.S.A is also a socialist country, and started listing all the the govt. run orgs that relies on tax money. I had tried to explain that the taxes (and also mentioned that Texas is one of the states that has NO state taxes) were to support the education and protection jobs (fire dept. police dept.), and had to emphasize that there are NO unions in Texas (using Texas as an example, because that is where I was from).

He THEN brought up Socialized hospital care (I was waiting for this one ;)), and how wonderful it was.. I then asked him, “Then why are all of the people that can afford it going south (to the USA) to get better treatment within a reasonable time?”
His answer: “You don’t know what you are talking about.. no one goes outside of Canada to health care..”; His wife then interrupts him and says, “Well, there are many that go down to Mexico for cheap health care..”...
It wasn’t the point I was trying to make, but it put more weight on that subject, because WHO, in their right mind, would spend the money to jump a whole country just to get cheaper medical (in a third world sh!thole country) care rather than use the totally free (minus the taxes) for the healthcare >.<?!?!

BTW, they were from Vancouver.

Other than that, very nice couple ;^)

Exactly. If we think we are in trouble now, wait until Mexico collapses under the weight of these Socialist policies and we have hundreds of thousands trying to get across the border on a weekly basis.

A wall won’t do it any more.
We need fortifications and a willingness to kill anyone who does not respect our borders.

i think it is long overdue that someone point out exactly what is happening. We are seeing a replay of the late 18 and early 19 hundreds.
Things in EUROPE were not good at all and the pressure cooker was beginning to boil over, and getting ready to explode.
Far away, across the Atlantic was a RELATIVELY EMPTY United States of America. European governments saw the USA as a safety valve. Thus began a flood tide of poor Europeans crossing the ocean to America.
The governments of Europe virtually welcomed the vast exodus and wished their “Poor, Tired huddled masses” to get the hell out and head to America. From Germany, Italy, Poland, Scandaanavia, Hungary, Lithuania, Russia and every country of Europe they streamed west.
The IMMIGRANTS entered LEGALLY, sought and went to work, learned the English language, saw their children educated as AMERICANS, and filled American industry with hard working, intelligent GRATEFUL people. The GRATEFUL immigrants saw their children grow to “take over” and create a better America, proud to be America. They fought and won two World Wars, fighting and dying as AMERICANS.
Today we see the disasters of Central and South America allowing and encouraging their own “HUDDLED MASSES” to get the hell out and head for the big charity home up NOrth.
This will NOT work out as the last Immigration wave.

If Mexico turns into Venezuela (which it will if they go that path) you are correct, that we will need fortifications, not just a wall.

But we better get a physical wall in place first, IMO.

Wall, guards, razor wire, check points, dogs, the whole nine yards. This is NOT a drill.

So silly to have such a porous border.

Mexico, historically, has never been that much of an ally of the United States.

I know.

Just imagine how much worse it is going to be when socialist policies take full hold, and they run out of money turning Mexico into the humanitarian disaster that Venezuela is.

Check out this short Bill Whittle video (4 min) on the situation in Venezuela, which has considerably worsened since he made this: Bill Whittle video: "Socialism is For Suckers".

You are right to see this impending threat.
The Reagan administration did as well, and that’s why they crafted a plan to deal with it back in 1984.
Oliver North unintentionally revealed it.

The Rex 84 Program was originally established on the reasoning that if a “mass exodus” of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA.

Existence of the Rex 84 plan was first revealed during the Iran-Contra Hearings in 1987, and subsequently reported by the Miami Herald on July 5, 1987

” These camps are to be operated by FEMA should martial law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general’s signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached.”

The Wall must be reinforced - it'll be stopping - or slowing down - an army of Mexican/Venezuelans armed commie thugs...
