You should have seen it 40 years ago. 129 was two lanes right through downtown Jefferson (with a hard right turn, as I recall). But the cheapest beer in Georgia right down the road in Arcade.
The extreme northeast edge of metro Atlanta still in the local calling area, about 8 miles from the Commerce exit on Int 85 and 15 miles north of Athens. The hometown of Crawford Long and his discovery of anesthesia.
The state military academy. Not quite the Citadel or VMI, but perhaps higher standards these days that TAMU. And certainly better than any of the national academies.
I love downtown Jefferson, has a real old town feel to it.
There’s a cemetery there next to the Jefferson house. Civil War era old. My brother-in-law was looking at graves there one day and some very old man came up to him and said that his grandfather was the man buried with the Confederate Flag on his grave next to where he was standing. Apparently he was a vet.
This man claimed to live in the mansion up on the hill there in Jefferson. Just a weird experience.
Nonsense, Biblophile was way before Amazon and did it well and Amazon bought them out.
Portlands family homeless shelter strains to keep pace with demand (Maine)

Leftist organizations are bringing people to an area they cannot afford.
And of course most of those folks will start at minimum wage.
Bezos and his ilk are the new Demonrat plantation owners! The Democrats have a 190 year history and the first 140 years they were still openly segregationists. Encourage people to find any alternative to working for these B#stards! Never, ever shop with them! They treat their employees poorly and if the employee complains he is out the door with another immigrant entering the other door.
Part of every dollar of profit is used to undermine our President!
The same SJWs who scream about child labor in Central and South Asia are happy to shop with the new plantation owners who import junk from China and abuse US citizens.
