Lets harken back to 2008 to cover some important background intelligence about Sen. John McCain who has been lashing out at President Trump and others from his apparent deathbed.
McCain likes to illustrate his moral fibre by referring to his five years as a prisoner-of-war in Vietnam. And to demonstrate his commitment to family values, the 71-year-old former US Navy pilot pays warm tribute to his beautiful blonde wife, Cindy, with whom he has four children.
But there is another Mrs McCain who casts a ghostly shadow over the Senators presidential campaign. She is seldom seen and rarely written about, despite being mother to McCains three eldest children.
He was also the grandson of Admiral McCain who was Halseys senior officer during WW2.
...”If I hear one more freeper yeah but war hero McCains legacy . . .
Getting captured doesnt make you a hero. Getting tortured doesnt make you a hero. Heroes get tortured, and assholes get tortured. McCain is not a hero.”...
I totally agree. It has been many years since I admired John McCain. Back then, I accepted the media line about him, then I read about what he did to his first wife to be able to marry the extremely wealthy Cindy. That told me all I needed to know about McCain.
Sarah has too much class to say something now, while he’s at Hell’s door. Maybe she’ll have something to say later on, and it will be perfect.
Juan is so stupid. He doesn’t even know that 80% of the votes for his ticet were only votes for Palin.
“I can remember the announcement to this day.”
I think I cried when she walked onstage and began to speak. I remember the FR thread in the hours before. IIRC, one FReeper was monitoring flights online — where they were coming from and going to — and posted that Palin was the one. Exciting day.
50 years to see how good Palin was?
.
Its pretty clear even today that Sarah Palin was a big part of saving this country.
Just sayin'...
I didn’t know Ross Perot paid her medical bills after her accident.
Strange that the AZ people wouldn’t show up for a McPain gathering with food when they always were therefor him on election day. Surely, a lot don’t approve of him, but their numbers are recent.
There is something outrageously wrong with a party that nominates a McCain or Romney.
Good for her!!! He is/was a creep. and Cindy! Do not get me started......A kazillionaire who steals from her charity to pay for her addiction to pain killers. ( I am judging on the theft, not the addiction to pain killers)
His first wife gave that qoute decades ago.
Bagman McCain........who cut him in on the fake dossier?
I’m the same way. I voted for Sarah Palin. McCain was just along for the ride.
I wonder if Sarah will bother to attend his funeral.
Out of her overabundance of class and dignity, she probably will.
The media bias by omission, one of their favorite tactics.
Which people in AZ are going to miss this guy? Is the entire population made up of Democrats?
That is the most accurate & succinct description of the situation I've read.
Heroism is CHOOSING to do the right thing when doing so will cost you greatly. Heroism requires three things:
A choice
The correct choice for the GOOD
Extreme risk of personal loss
John McCain suffered greatly when shot down and during his imprisonment. For that, he has my sympathy. After that, he had no choices except trying to retain his honor until release. The jury is still out on that.
His treatment, after being released from prison, of his first wife and children was despicable and indicative of a man who chooses for personal gain, not for the good. The antithesis of heroism.
Many of his choices and public stands as a US Senator can be characterized as "strange", "wrong" or "evil", take your pick. IOW, non-heroic.
Regardless of his history, he has only a short time left to ensure that he has made things right with his Maker. Once he has done that, he might want to begin dealing with those he has wronged.
Really? I don't ever remember "Maverick" being very popular around here. I certainly never got in any trouble for calling him a POS. You must have been attacked by the bots.
What scares me about this article is: This POS replicated 7 times??? I hope the mothers contributed more than their statistical share of the important genes.
I even blame her more than McCain.”
Well, that’s typical liberal retardation thinking right there.
They blame guns instead of the shooter.
They blame drugs instead of the drug user.
They blame everything except the person taking the actions.
You blame her instead of McInsane himself.
What a liberal retard.
