The owner of the New England Patriots said in a meeting with NFL owners, executives and players that President Trump was using public fury over football players who kneel during the national anthem as "fodder to do his mission."
In an audio recording of the private meeting, which was obtained by The New York Times, Robert Kraft said that Trump seized on the national anthem protests to spread division and anger.
"The problem we have is, we have a president who will use that as fodder to do his mission that I don’t feel is in the best interests of America,” Kraft, a longtime Trump supporter, said, according to the Times. "It’s divisive and it’s horrible."

How is purposely knealing and disrespecting the flag not “causing division?” Let’s remember what started all of this, too: One jackass was seen sitting his ass down on a bench during the anthem and asked about it by reporters after a preseason game at which time, instead of admitting he was caught with his pants down, he made up some bullshit about “protesting.”
Kraft’s New England Patriots need Trump supporters vastly more than Trump supporters need Kraft’s New England Patriots.

Could it be that Trump was simply reflecting what 100 million Americans think about paying to be insulted by millionaire players? The NFL used to be an escape or oasis from the daily political badgering in the main stream media.
So the owner of the Patriots cannot figure this out? The NFL has passed the high water mark in attendance and public interest, and on its way out.
The owners and players will continue to blame everyone but themselves. Hate and stupidity are not the basis for economic success.
