In White circles I don’t discuss Blacks. I don’t have any other policy for Blacks that I have for Whites. If a Black guy shows up in a job position, all I care about is his social skills and if he/she can get the job done. Amazingly, it’s the same for Whites or anyone else.
This commentary telegraphs a lot more than the author intended.
If a Black guy shows in a social setting I’m at, I never wonder what he’s doing there. I take it for granted he’s there doing exactly what I am, socializing. Imagine that.
What this guy says, is that Blacks view us differently. If a White shows up in their circles, an ulterior motive is assumed.
Pardon me, but that is major racism.
I’m so tired of this “S” and it once again reveals who the major racists are.
All this because some idiots were so inconsiderate to take up space in a business without making a purchase.
If the folks had been any other color, I’d have judges them just the same.
I think he was attempting sarcasm; lampooning white shop owners’ suspicions of blacks by saying blacks do the same as whites.(follow us around to see what we might up to, perhaps purses should be checked and the cops called on us). It was a subtle jab and mockery of supposed white attitudes towards blacks.
If he doesn’t like such attitudes from whites, perhaps he should stop simply assuming it’s just “racism” and encourage his fellow blacks to do a little soul searching themselves. Whites aren’t the ones killing blacks in Chicago, after all!
