My grandma had surgery for a broken hip when she was 90. She regained good mobility and lived to 100. Prayers for you friend’s father.

Dear Lord
The Gospels are filled with of accounts of your love and compassion for the sick and the suffering. Have Mercy on our dear friend Ward that he may be comforted, we also ask that you guide the efforts of his doctors and that they may be successful in relieving Ward of his pain.

Ward is out of surgery and the doctors have said it’s up to him now (meaning recovery). His spasms and pain should be eased by the pain medication they are giving him and he should be able to sleep better. His family is waiting to see him once he leaves the recovery room
Ward has Alzheimer’s so he doesn’t really understand what all is going on.
Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to remember him and his family as they go through the recovery and rehabilitation stage.

I have a similar story. My neighbor, 93, fell and broke hip. She had surgery, rehab x 20 days, then home where she lives with her daughter. She is now up and about, with cane, and does everything she did before she fell. She’s a determined and loved woman
Prayers sent
