Ward is out of surgery and the doctors have said it’s up to him now (meaning recovery). His spasms and pain should be eased by the pain medication they are giving him and he should be able to sleep better. His family is waiting to see him once he leaves the recovery room
Ward has Alzheimer’s so he doesn’t really understand what all is going on.

Aw poor fella. Alzheimers is an incedious disease that I would love to see eleminated in my lifetime.
