D.C. FBI Insiders Slam Raid of Trump Attorney; Hammer NY FBI as Rogue Clinton-Backed Operation
True Pundit ^ | 04/09/18 | Staff

Posted on 04/10/2018 7:05:14 AM PDT by pgkdan

FBI insiders on Monday reacted with a collective bewilderment after the office of Trump attorney Michael Cohen was raided.

While not minimizing potential problems for Cohen in what appears to be a bank fraud case and possibly election related, FBI veterans reacted with a general disappointment toward FBI Director Christopher Wray’s leadership.

“Wray was supposed to break up the nonsense in New York or at least he was expected to try,” one FBI insider said. “Looks like business as usual.”

One longtime veteran said the FBI’s action on Monday will only harm the Bureau’s embattled reputation further.

“America is looking at this and wondering how the Justice Department can hassle anyone in New York without first looking at the Clinton Foundation,” the insider said. “That is certainly a legitimate concern. This makes the FBI look worse today.”

Why hasn’t the FBI raided the Clinton Foundation’s New York City offices?

Has Cohen illegally usurped and laundered hundreds of millions of dollars like the Clinton Foundation? Perhaps even billions.

Hardly.

“I think Americans just want a level playing field,” one FBI agent said. “That is not happening. The NY field office was involved with the Hillary email investigation and she walked on that.”

This is the overall point of hypocrisy: How can the FBI raid a Michael Cohen until it raids a Bill Clinton, a Hillary Clinton, a Clinton Foundation?

And how are Americans supposed to trust the FBI until all lawbreakers are treated equally because in 2018, they certainly are not. Look at Andrew McCabe and his wife. Look at Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. Look at the hundreds of stories uncovering FBI corruption in True Pundit alone.

Did Cohen send thousands of classified and top secret emails to other recipients while maintaining a rogue government server in his basement?

Hardly.

The frustration of FBI veterans is simple to decipher. It was the New York FBI who quickly grabbed Anthony Weiner’s laptop with a warrant to lock down its contents in what, at the time, was considered lightening speed by FBI standards.

Then-U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara helped expedite that to make sure the contents of the laptop didn’t leak and embarrass Hillary Clinton of Huma Abedin. And also ensure enough of the contents were leaked to put Weiner in a federal prison for years to think about the time he threatened to go public with the contents to expose Hillary Clinton. See how that worked out? Weiner went to jail, Hillary and her foundation walked away unscathed.

All courtesy of the New York FBI and Justice Department. And now perhaps you can understand why FBI insiders are frustrated.

America is watching too. And equally frustrated. At least the folks who know the difference between law and order and believe it is the thread that holds the country together and from chaos.

Unless the FBI wants to keep pulling the thread loose…

Oops! Too late! That boat has already sailed. Current leadership at the D.O.J. has turned the entire organization into a sick, sad, South Park episode. I keep waiting for Cartman to pop up in an FBI windbreaker and demand we "Respect his athoritee!"

All the totalitarian fascist horrors of the past will be nothing compared to what’s coming down the pike. We are all marked and cataloged as enemies in Obama’s basement servers.

If they can openly do this to Trump now, with Republicans in control, it doesn’t take a genius to imagine what happens the next time they grab it all.

That sword can cut both ways.

I admire the personal courage of these petty functionaries. Or are they just stupid?

““The frustration of FBI veterans is simple to decipipher.”

But not frustrated enough to go public.

The silence of the rank and file makes them accomplices.”

Law enforcement at all levels..federal, state and local...are nothing more or less than “street muscle” for the political powers that be, Their mission is to impose the will of the government on the people. Any arrests or interventions with actual criminals is purely incidental to their primary mission.

Are all you Lincoln lovers still so sure you support the incontestable supremacy of the all powerful Central Government?

The intentional internal destruction of the reputations of organizations like the FBI and CIA are part of the Marcuse/Dutschke plan for “the long march through the institutions”. It’s not an accident or side effect that the FBI is compromised, it’s the plan.

This raid “PROVES” the FBI is a corrupt out of control Democratic Party totalitarian tool and Mueller is not an investigator but rather an assassin! More proof that the Demonrats will stop at nothing. They hate the Costitution and the freedom of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

“There are none so blind as those who will not see.”

From the article:

“The frustration of FBI veterans is simple to decipher.

Weiner went to jail, Hillary and her foundation walked away unscathed.”

——Dan Bongino says in an investigation always “remember the names”, the name that jumped out to me was Preet Bharara.

I remember reading about him when I looked up the Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya who was allegedly sent to meet with Trump Jr. about the Hillary emails——

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fusion_GPS#Prevezon_Holding

In 2013, the US Department of Justice, represented by the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Preet Bharara, sued Prevezon Holding, a Republic of Cyprus corporation registered in New York State as a foreign business corporation, under the Magnitsky Act for money-laundering. The lawsuit sought forfeiture of various assets and real estate holdings in the US.

The sole shareholder of Prevezon was Russian citizen Denis Katsyv, whose father is Petr Katsyv, vice president of Russia’s state-run rail monopoly and “reportedly a business associate of Vladimir Yakunin, a confidant of Vladimir Putin”.Katsyv’s Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya was not licensed to practice in the US, and Katsyv hired the law firm of BakerHostetler to represent Prevezon; BakerHostetler hired Fusion GPS in early 2014 to provide research help for the litigation.

——So both Preet Bharara and Natalia Veselnitskaya involved with fusion GPS, who were connected to Hillary and the DNC, the Steele dossier and the phony Russian collusion hoax——

http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/358828-there-is-nothing-normal-about-the-fusion-gps-dossier

Curiously, however, Steele filed documents this spring in British court stating that the Trump dossier was never to have been made public. Again, not “normal” for opposition research; the point is to make such information public, bringing facts from the past to remind people what someone said or did.

There are Federal Election Commission (FEC) regulations on such matters, requiring financial disclosure for campaign research and accuracy of public statements in political ads and materials. Neither the Clinton campaign nor the DNC disclosed any of the work Fusion GPS undertook on their behalf, and there are now FEC complaints filed on the matter.

But in the end, the Fusion GPS dossier was not about playing fair or exposing the truth. It was the exact opposite. If this was “normal,” why did two Fusion GPS partners plead the Fifth to every question asked of them by the House Intelligence Committee?

Perhaps that’s why the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which had the dossier long before it was known to exist publicly and used the dossier to launch its “Russian collusion” investigation, continues to block the testimony of two agents who used the document for such ends.

Maybe that’s why Hillary Clinton, her campaign chief, John Podesta, and her one-time head of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, have all become regular old Sergeant Schultzes when asked about their knowledge of the dossier’s creation and dissemination.

In the past, the media and reporters would never have accepted such statements as truthful: Watergate, Abscam, Whitewater, Bill Clinton campaign’s acceptance of foreign campaign cash.

Yet, the media appears more than willing to accept that senior people on a presidential campaign, including the candidate herself who made much of her “hands on” campaign management, and the man who wrote the checks, were unaware that upwards of $12 million was going out the door for unspecified reasons? They’re either incompetent or they’re lying. Given the results of the election and what we now know about Fusion GPS, perhaps they’re just incompetent liars.

And this is where the other part of this sordid tale stalls out. Because the media simply doesn’t want to dwell on its own role in this debacle. It’s now clear that for more than a year, the media was played. Played by the Clinton campaign. Played by Fusion GPS. Played by Putin’s minions.

But he’s an inconsequential puppet by comparison. No, The Washington Post, The New York Times, all of the TV networks and cable news channels bit hard on this scam. They treated Fusion GPS’s work as legitimate, never double-checking or even simply checking whether anything in it were true.

The press were facilitators of a great hoax that the duly elected president of the United States was a Putin puppet and traitor to his country. They took a Kremlin-sourced dossier, funded by the Democratic Party, legitimized by the Obama administration, spoon fed to them by Fusion, and put it on steroids because it fit their worldview, not because it was based on facts.

You're right. If they can do this to a sitting Republican President while Republicans control Congress just imagine what they have in store for 'worthless eaters' like us. And it won't take democrats getting control of Congress. Republicans are willingly playing along right now.

We'll be told to shut up and go along or pay the consequences. It's coming.

I put a >20 year friendship on ‘indefinite hold’ last night, in relation to this. This friend was gleeful about Obama, and gleeful about Obamacare, was glued to the TV during the Ted Kennedy memorial/funeral, and absolutely HATES Trump. In essentially every conversation we've had since the election he has turned the conversation to something anti-Trump, and he was just salivating yesterday after the raid on Trump's attorney.

He knows how I feel, but tries to tweak me constantly, bringing up anything remotely negative about Trump. He loves Rachel Maddow, buys into the Ivy League, East Coast, urban, ‘better and smarter than those deplorable Trump voters in the middle of the country’ view of the world, and is fervently anti-gun. He's made many comments about how police and the military have lots of gun crazy people who just want to play ‘army’ etc.

Our friendship has been based on other things, including playing sports together, and I've tried really, really hard to avoid politics. He just can't and won't stop his comments. While he gleefully celebrated the overreach of an illegitimately appointed ‘special counsel’ who broke into the office of a personal attorney of the POTUS, it became very clear to me that his hatred for Trump, and his ‘need’ for his side to ‘win’ were much more important to him than me or our friendship. I told him he was an elitist, and also told him that if he thinks the people he looks down on (i.e. Trump voters) will just quietly go into the night if their votes and their representation is nullified by a liberal/leftist and establishment-driven witch hunt to remove a duly elected President from office, he is delusional and he should prepare himself for the start of the tearing apart of American society.

Given that I have not been the one pushing political comments on him, and that I've tried to respect his views without trying to impose mine, I feel I really had no choice. It's a shame, but I don't regret it.

It is absurdly foolish to believe/hope that the federal government is going to police itself to eliminate its own corruption when the federal government’s sitting hierarchy are the leading corrupt scoundrels. The question is not what the solution to restore law and integrity is to DC. The question is how and when to deploy it.
