Exactly.

They have an agenda, craft a “solution” to ratchet their next agenda item, and then create the “problem” for which their “solution” fixes it.

It doesn’t fix it, thus creating a problem that can be solved by the next “solution”.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

If its not obvious to everyone by now, statism, central control and socialism are a direct CAUSE of wage and particularly wealth, inequality, they can never “fix” it.

Oh for crying out loud.

Obama couldn’t figure out how to close an umbrella.

How was he going to close anything else?

It's better to campaign against an issue than solve it. You can campaign for decades...but is you solve a problem, then you have to find another one.

Because it doesn’t exist

They compare a kindergarten teacher to a senior partner at a law firm and cry “wage gap”

Once you compare apples to apples, the so called wage gap disappears and in some cases women make more then men do.

Its a fake issue to rile up their base. Who believes anything the DNC Media tells them

Why didn’t he suspend the 2nd amendment? ;-)

For the same job, women earn more than men now.

There is nothing here. Maybe there was at some time in the past, but this is no longer an issue and hasn’t been for quite a while.

obama didn't close the "gap" because he knew that no Friend of Barack would complain. They are all happy to now be able to blame if on PDJT.

Equal pay stifles employees from trying to excel and get noticed, so that they get a bigger paycheck.
Without inequality in pay, there is no incentive to be any better than the lowest common denominator.

Hillary did not fix it even in her own campaign staff.

I’ve had some discussions with liberal types, and it’s an endless loop of complaints.

For example, if you bring up how mothers may not want to put in the hours and work necessary to advance a career, because they have family responsibilities, they say that’s discrimination. They say why aren’t fathers doing more? If you mention some careers such as law, where it’s a tough struggle to become a partner in a law firm, they say that is discrimination, that they shouldn’t expect mother’s to work 50 or 60 hours a week to work their way up in some career.

There’s lots of anger out there among liberals, that they bring up how society is unfair, how the working world is unfair, how life is unfair, and the discussion goes in circles.

Agreed!

One good thing about the military - you get paid the same rate as the men!

Switching industries or even to one of my competitors would improve my pay. However, most days I walk out of the office before 5:30 (usually 5 but I like to leave with tasks finished), I get a full hour for lunch, don’t need to show up before 8 and never work on a Saturday.

I made the decision that lower pay, an awesome work atmosphere and a social life were far more valuable.

I don’t have the nicest or most expensive things, but I have good friends, like my charity work and can spend time with my aging parents.

Because Obama turned out to be a useful idiot who did the dirty work for the (not so) Invisible Hand. The intention is to keep in control of everything. That's in the nation and according to the global plan. Part of that scene is to keep the majority of blacks in for all-practical-purposes slavery with low wages and unsafe degraded communities. Blacks are being replaced by visions of a brown population and demands for equity are being overwhelmed by cheap labor Hispanics.

Some call that conspiracy theory. I can't see anything I've just expressed that isn't supported by actions of those who are destroying the nation.

The “wage gap” kind of stupid shouldn’t be possible.

Life is unfair—always has been, always will be.

The liberals just need to move on and start enjoying their lives like everyone else. If not I have one more alternative for them.... :-)

That’s the way to do it! I LOVE being retired now so I can raise critters, garden, sew, crochet, work at our Food Pantry, help at the Humane Society, etc.

I sat down once and ‘averaged’ my pay throughout the years. Seems no matter WHAT I did, I was pretty much ‘averaging’ the same pay rate, no matter what. (And it was MORE than adequate to live on; I always owned a house, etc.)

Of course the two income years were always nice, but I knew I could always be self-supporting with the skill set I had been given and/or had developed through the years.

It’s amazing how well you’ll be paid if you MAKE money for others, don’t abuse drugs or alcohol and SHOW UP for work each day with a SMILE on your face. ;)

Obama couldn’t actually “close the ‘pay gap’” without imposing strict socialism because market forces in a free republic are what actually set real wages. Any thing else is diddling with the Constitution, no matter who does it.
