In every gun crowd there is a Bullpup rifle group.
But, you dont often hear too much of the .50 BMG in a bullpup build.
The guys from Tactical Imports Corp shared a video of them strutting this bullpup style GM6 Lynx rifle.
Most .50 BMG are usually long rifle.
This GM6 Lynx is a semi-automatic .50 BMP bullpup houses a five-round magazine with a barrel length of 28.7 inches.
Just because its short doesn't mean it cant pack a punch.
This bullpup may be the answer for those that think shooting a full size .50 BMG bulky. See the full footage of 50 BMG bullpup here.
Get off my lawn.
I’d like one, but I would worry that I’d put my eye out.
Get out of my county!
That gun is very.... Kinetic.
Yeah, Kinetic is the word I’m looking for. It’s like riding a motorcycle with an exposed primary belt. I know guys who do it, but I can’t even imagine. I don’t want to go near theirs.
Get off my f*cking planet!
Oops. Now you're all over the neighbor's lawn...
Stunning!
That guy’s shoulder had to be sore! For a while. :)
For later.

I wonder what the muzzle velocity of a bullpup vs. long rifle of the same caliber and powder weight would be? I would presume a bit higher but no data. Anyone?
You will put your shoulder and eye out.
That looks painful
From the recoil shown, it should be sold with a “future shoulder surgery” certificate, good at any local surgical facility.
Also looks like target grouping would be measured in feet or yards, not inches.
I’m no expert but as far as a Tavor bullpup vs. M4/AR15 rifles i believe the barrel length is the same; the difference is simply pushing the action back farther closer to your face. I think muzzle velocity is the same. They even use the same magazines!
(I love the AR but dangit...i really, REALLY want a Tavor)

I aint sticking a 50 BMG cartridge under my face or the muzzle brake that close to by face, But I kinda wanna LOL!
You give a shot first Bob....
An acquaintance of mine has a Barrett.
His girlfriend unloaded a 5 rd box on her belly...
She scooted back a foot! Toesies dug into the dirt, but she never flinched! LOL
On most bullpups, yes. The one in question, if I am seeing it correctly, has a shorter barrel, though only by less than 1/2". My thinking is that with less friction, a shorter barrel should produce higher MV than a longer one. I did find an article that discussed the very issue and their results were quite surprising. Looks like it needs more research but the table below seems quite comprehensive.

Muzzle Velocity

Length matters
Thanks for posting! :)
