It wasn’t in India where Hillary Clinton first blamed ‘pressure’ from men for why white women voted for Trump.

Clinton first tried blaming pressure from men for women in voting against her in 2017—but ‘fact-checking’ snopes.com was quick to deny it in this Sept. 15, 2017 headline: ‘A viral Facebook quote misquotes the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate’.

It was no less than barefaced Fake News in action!

Not to defend Hillary Clinton, but take a look at these stairs. Unless you have been to some place like India, you have no idea how bad worn stairs can be. Look at the stair just above her right foot. It is completely worn, all the way back to the riser above. The stair above that is even worse. To make matters worse, there is no rail to steady yourself.

You send 100 able bodied Americans down those steps in slick leather Indian "Chappel" sandals, and about 20 of them will stumble. A seventy-year-old woman in marginal condition is almost certain to fall.

In the United States, people just wouldn't be permitted to use stairs that bad. As soon as things become worn, they are repaired or closed. When travelling to India, or even older buildings in a place like Rome, it is best to treat stairs more like a rough path than a stairway.

Hillary had no business being on those stairs. Somebody on her advance team should get fired.

I was there, a few decades ago.

Back in those days, a tourist would never even think to descend those steps. The bathing areas were pretty much off limits to foreign visitors.

I have no idea if that is still the case. I find it surprising to see all of these tourists heading down to the water. They really have no business being there.
