Good for you - I wish I used some of these services so I could cancel too - might call up a few to arrange to rent a car or ask about identity protection, then remember out loud that they cancelled on the NRA and hang up on ‘em.....

Was considering going to Simply Safe but no longer. Sadly I booked a flight with Delta three weeks ago. Will be calling to see if my agent can get me on another carrier without a severe penalty.
Would like to dump SimpliSafe, but have all that money in their devices.....bummer......

The stock took a nosedive after that but they recovered. But no word of them anywhere I listen or watch.
Doubt that will be possible as their systems are proprietary.
We could run stand-alone I guess with no monitoring - I’ll call them and see if all monitoring calls can be directed to myself and my family.......
when we got simplisafe, we bought our own equipment. With Monatronics, that we had before we had to buy their equipment. Or actually it was a lease for $99 and then we had a two-year contract or something. But with SimpliSafe we got the equipment somewhere else so it is ours. And we just pay the monthly with no contract. But I don’t know of any other company that doesn’t make you buy their equipment… So we are kind of stuck for now. That doesn’t mean I can’t call them and complain and tell them if I had an option I would take it.
i don’t Understand these companies that want to alienate 50% of their customers. They must know we are trapped. Or they are pretty stupid when it comes to economics, which is probably more the case.
Let me know what they say, that’s a great idea. I never thought of it – but it would be much better than having to deal with the middleman that calls the police. I’d rather make that decision myself.
