If you remember Ronald Reagan, one of my favorite presidents ever, he had a famous saying which goes something like this: The 9 most terrifying words in the English language are: I am from the Government and I am here to help. Truer words have never been spoken. If you were wondering what’s up with the left kicking and screaming about gun control in the aftermath of the Florida massacre, the answer is very simple: they are trying to cover their behinds and follow an occult agenda, that has nothing with our safety and/or security. The thing is, this school shooting has everything to do with leftist (liberal) policies and nothing to do with guns.

First, gun free zones like schools, are soft targets where any nutcase on psychiatric drugs can go and look for his 15 minutes of fame, plus the best body-count he can get, knowing there will be nobody shooting back. And the leftist progressives own the idea of gun free zones, it is their creation. The left fails to comprehend a basic fact: the only ones who abide the laws, in this case gun free zones, are law abiding citizens. Shockingly enough, criminals don’t care about laws.

Two things: Fire everyone from the top down that was involved, especially those four officers that hid at the scene, rather than do their jobs and save some or all of those 17 kids killed and the others injured. 150 plus shots is what I heard in one report. That is five magazine changes.

My boys and I were recently discussing why I conceal carry, I pointed out the challenge. The police take 8-10 minutes to respond--and now we can update this that they may just OBSERVE once this do. (Serve and Protect Observe). As they know from when we shoot in the desert, they can empty a 30 round magazine in less than 30 seconds. Swap in about that time actually. That means 60 rounds a minute. By 10 minutes that is up to 600 rounds. Say they stop at 8 minutes, that is still 480 rounds and they now have 2 minutes to drive away before the police arrive. They could be 1-2 miles away, long gone, when the police arrive. Serve and Observe is right.

Yes, we must be armed, we must take our own precautions because otherwise we are the hapless victim, wrong place, wrong time, waiting for the police to come document the result.

This whole thing has written “government failure” on it, but the left keeps clamoring about their gun control mantra, as if more government would do a better job than it already does.

The proglib comrats does not want "gun control," they want confiscation.

That is why they will not agree to an actual solution that works.

They are absolutely willing to let children get slaughtered in attack after attack, they believe that eventually it will lead to total confiscation of everything down to Daisy Red Rider bb guns.

Now, we learned that the Florida shooter was a nut on psychiatric drugs, with a long history of violence and animal abuse,

who was visited by the Broward Country police almost 40 times, but nothing happened.

Also, the FBI was notified about this lunatic at least 2 times, but they did nothing.

This almost looks like the FBI and the Sheriff’s department, together with various law enforcement agencies wanted for such a tragedy to take place, to use it to advance the left’s gun control agenda.

This almost looks orchestrated-----perhaps the FBI and the Broward Sheriff’s department, and
other pansy L/E, wanted such a horrendous tragedy to advance the left’s gun control agenda.

BOOM---That becomes even more obvious when you consider then-pres Obama used the Broward
model to implement school policies nationwide....... and even conditioned doling out federal tax
dollars on its installment as official school policy.

The Broward shooting has been pinpointed as the catastrophic results of Broward’s 2009 progressive
policy in which Broward schools and L/E colluded in an insane “liberal agreement.” They agreed to:

<><> they artificially reduced the number of reported student crimes, and

<><> they altered the ethnic makeup of student arrests.

The intended result? To pocket more state and federal funding.......a greedy money grab that caused 17 teen deaths.

In 2016, Obama used Broward’s “progressive model agreement” to stop enforcing the law on school
campuses nationwide. Compliance with the Obama guidelines play a role in determining the level of
federal funding directed toward schools and law enforcement.

I can see the SRO guy being told to wait until he gets backup because Cruz could take him down and add his weapon to his arsenal and the newly arrived officers wouldn't know where he was. Yes, a real man would go in on his own but whatever, there are rules. However, when the other officers arrived, there's no excuse for not going in.
