Hated In Good Company
Way back when I was a hippie, all the pot and loud music couldnt cloud the fact that the wrong side of any debate was usually the more dramatic, flowery presentation. The plentiful aesthetics, drugs, sex, music, movies, etc. of the 60s only proved to deaden everybodys brains. Believe it or not, when LSD and marijuana first became popular, I was actually excited because I (like eventually even Elvis) thought that drugs could change the thinking that got us into wars and racism. I remember when my flower-child friends were no longer turning on for love and deep discussion. They just started doing drugs to get high. All the dope became just a different form of entertainment - beyond alcohol. And I have since sadly watched most all the progeny from that generation dumb down and fight for conformity and nice feelings for their lives instead of thoughtful substance and sanity. Common sense is dead, in that it is no longer common.
So....how many of these mass shooters have been members of the NRA? This is such BS!

I'd never put together that aspect of drug usage in the 60's. That's a good perspective to remember. Thanks for posting.
OH? But the geniuses of the left are more intelligent that the rest of the population. I know, Hillary supporters were. They wore their “I’m with her pins”, and they thought that automatically pushed their IQ to 100. To be part of the intelligentsia, wear a Hillary pin! The USA went to pot, in the late 60’s, its going to be one hell of a fight to get it back on track with the moral norm.
Textbook misandrist calling anyone a misogynist is kinda comical.
The Hilligentsia?
I watched my two brothers semi-destroyed by drugs. No ambition, always hiding the drugs, and thinking no one knew they were druggies. Not addicts but recreational users. I love my brothers, but they broke my heart. And were are all Baby Boomers.
Nothing destroys your sense of reality like using drugs. I never used drugs and I thank my old fashioned, old country upbringing for that.
The whole sixties thing was a giant psyops invented by the Tavistock Institute in England. With friends like England, who needs enemies.
I have a brother that way too...and I would have been the same way except for the love of a good woman and God. I know how destructive even pot is to our physical and especially spiritual lives.
Agree. It was mostly pot, but my older brother experimented with nearly everything in the late 60s. My younger brother, only pot.
I watched some friends of mine start doing pot and they went from bright ambitious college students to foggy brained dropouts who only looked forward to their next joint, drink, or sex.
Really pathetic.

Now (sadly) their liberal progeny do not even need drugs to reason like they were on them.
