“Its an opportunity to feel better about yourself, showing love to some other mans kid. Its not the kids fault.”
Exactly, and it usually turns out well.
A young woman I used to work with lost her father when she and her sister were three and four. The mother remarried about 5 years later, two more kids were born, and the second husband was a GREAT father to all of them.
The part that impressed me is the deceased husband’s parents were considered grandparents to all four kids: in other words these kids had three sets of grandparents that were included in all holidays, celebrations and their lives.

“For those that don’t have double-wide monitors...”
Are you making fun of me just because I live in a double-wide? I swear I’ll buy a computer monitor the next time they go on sale at the Wal-Market.
Both of them are uglier than hammered S__T. Beyond that I see no resemblance.
I guess Bill shoots blanks and Web doesn’t.
There are two concepts that I have valued in life related to love.
The first is this:
If you share a sorrow, it hurts half as much.
If you share a joy, it will be twice as joyous.
We can reduce our pain, and enhance our joy.
The second concept is the old McCartney line in the song, “The End”.
“And, in the end
The love you take
is equal to the love you make.”
I always thought this was worded awkwardly, but he did get the point across.
Since I don’t believe love is always reciprocated, I have come to believe that it’s up to us to give love, and let the chips fall where they will.
Still, if you don’t express your love to others, it will be very hard for them to express their love to you.
In life there are times when you just love. You don’t worry about what you get out of it. It’s enough to make someone else happy, if you can.
Children need these things.
1. expressed love
2. structured years
3. a set of values
4. limits
5. a place they know they can find peace and safety
Of course they need water, foot, and shelter/clothing, but those things are a given.
If you love a child, what’s the worst that could happen?
You give them what they need, and let them venture off from there.
If they honor you or not, if they live a good life or not, you did the best you could, and that should comfort you, even if all is lost.
So yes, love the children from a previous marriage. Be proud of yourself in the end.
Really I was like i need new eyes.
Thank you I think you saved this thread from permanent damage
Its a good point, but I’m incapable of knowing what is hot to a girl so if you freepmail me a link, I’ll be happy to put it up for you.
;)
Ha! It may be different for men, but most women are attuned to and appreciate a beautiful woman. I am fascinated by a beautiful woman. Not in a sexual way but in an appreciative way. I also think women feel comfortable doing that....men not so much.
You can never go wrong with Paul Newman ; ) or Tony Curtis or Richard Burton or Joe Namath back in the day or..........; )
Beautiful & a hero,.....wow! Thanks
Your first post was such a tragedy for your friend. How could someone do that to a child???
This post is beautiful. Thank you.

I had heard that the Clintons sought out a friend from whom to borrow sperm. Too bad for Chelsea, Moms other law partner turned Hill down. He beat Webby in the looks dept.
I’m not sure which picture is which, but the ugly one is Chelsea.
The other one is also ugly.

I anticipate a new song - Shes got Webster Hubble Lips sung to the tune from the song Shes got Betty Davis Eyes.
From my Free Republic profile page:
Can someone post this to Chelsea’s Twitter?
“Had this been publicized by George H W (”wouldn’t be...prudent”) Bush in 1991, Bill Clinton would never have been elected.”
And which TV news outlet, Magazine outlet or news paper would have published it?
Veronica Belmont. I know my nerdhot babes.
It happened to my brother so I don’t think that’s correct
I'm old enough so that when I was growing up, there was no vaccination to protect anyone from getting mumps. If having the mumps really did make ALL males sterile, no matter what, then there wouldn't have been many late BOOMERS nor GEN Xers; if any of them at all.
What I posted is fact and something even kids knew about, as it was once common knowledge.
