No players knelt or sat during the national anthem as the Super Bowl kicked off in Minneapolis on Sunday, according to The Associated Press.
Pop singer Pink performed a rendition of the song as players for the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles stood on the sidelines.

NFL probably thought ratings would already be down enough without turning off even more viewers, and wonder how much ad revenue they would potentially have had to return if the ratings were low enough.

I tuned in at the last time out 1:10 remaining.
The Eagles won. They had no kneelers this season and their quarterback is a Christian.
The New England Pussyhats lost.
