Actually they got a late start on the impossible job of trying to cover their tracks. The Russia nonsense, the insurance plan, a last minute attempt to save themselves. Lies as big as theirs are impossible to conceal from honest men.
None of this would ever have seen the light of day had Mrs. Clinton won.
The stupid thing is that they should have stopped once Trump was elected. Trump even said he should move on and let them skate those first couple of days after the election. It was there insistence on trying to get him impeached and other never ending shenanigans that we are not being told anything about that cemented the fact that they should all be prosecuted. This was one of the stupidest overplaying of hands by Dems and the deep state II have ever seen.
When the “Russia, Russia, Russia” nonsense first started, I thought it was just projection. (And it’s still possible that I was right.) But the main reason for “Russia, Russia, Russia” was to get the idea out there in public in order to make it sound plausible as a cover for all the illegal wiretapping.

They were caught off guard that Hilary lost the presidential election. That is when they earnestly began scrambling. Before that, there was no expected need to contain a conspiracy that President Hillary’s DOJ and FBI were expected to whitewash, with a complicit liberal media.
Trump’s unexpected win is TO BLAME for there miserable plight and frenzied cover up. Oh that evil Trump! He just wont leave them alone. Best president since at leadt the Civil War!
