FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe in the days leading up to his forced resignation Monday threatened to torch the FBI if he was expelled from his job without full retirement benefits, according to sources with direct knowledge of private conversations McCabe shared with agents.
He was unglued, one FBI source said.
Someone should keep an eye on him.
But McCabe may also have been reacting, in part, to another growing problem beyond the corruption scandals enveloping McCabes leadership at the embattled FBI.
An FBI insider with Intel inside the embattled Bureau who has vigilantly worked to uncover systemic corruption inside the FBI, is rumored to be penning a tell-all book that promises to blow the roof off the inner-workings of the FBIs controversial 7th-Floor.
This could spell trouble for more than McCabe.
This story is Developing.
We will update as more Intel is gathered.
Let’s not forget NSA. Another tool that must be neutralized.
If he is in fact, snitching, the deal is already done. And I suspect a measly pension was the least of the bargaining chips. Though they probably threw that in to sweeten the deal.
Wow...a win-win-win all around:
1. We save his pension cost which he clearly does not deserve (let him live off the $700k Terry McCauliffe bribe).
2. His family will be in penury while he is in Supermax
3. We get all the evidence we need to crush the FBI to nothing and start rebuilding a new organization imbued with honor and integrity.
Is there a single downside?
Agreed.
Circumvention is the way to neutralize that outfit. There is no turning back technology, and it is foolish to trust law. Law is the most dishonest profession of all. I ought to know.
“Last decade”??
Since 1992. Maybe since 1972.
after that he will probably feel some real heat where he is going down there...
Most likely
Agreed. It is no coincidence that most politicians are lawyers. What we see now is the result of dishonest men getting their hands on power.
He may have trouble spending those book royalties from federal prison.
I don’t believe he has snitched yet. He is threatening to snitch about something. Of what, we do not know. Other than the graft he probably received from the deep state, he has nothing left but his pension. IMHO.
” according to sources with direct knowledge of private conversations”
We’ll see...
The obtuse law came later. Worth learning to be sure. So is "procedure" worth learning. Many shenanigans are worked with "procedure."
Sounds like some workplace violence coming up.
obfuscate, delay, spin, protect, these are the skills of lawyers in government
Just the leadership that got put into place by the Obummer and Hitlery.
How will the democrat media cover these stories? Just like ch12 Portland covered it. This was a pre announced retirement. That’s how.
If there was no problem snooping on the Trump campaign, there probably was no problem snooping on those who would come after them if caught. M.A.D.
In the old days, the 7th Floor of a lot of hospitals was the psych ward.
He wanted benefits before he retired. Didn’t Wray get the memo from the House Committee today? Or is it just a coincidence he retired today?
