Just as Pollutico broke the news of Obama blocking law enforcement from going after Hamas drug running, now they come out with this.
I call it a Surveillance State. Remember Maxine Waters' talk of Obama's biggest database evah. It started here.

There are no mistakes at this level. This was deliberate. And they’ll get away with it.

It is NOT POSSIBLE to be an “honest mistake”.
It requires a focused effort to make the primary and back-up data disappear.

Well, well, well, look at this. An agency that supposedly hears and records everything that is said by everyone, cannot “recall” anything when it is required by law. So tell me, what side is this agency’s side on, to whom are they accountable to, and what purpose are they serving? The NSA needs to be abolished, along with 90 percent of the federal government. Louis Lerner: “I have done nothing wrong” can be their excuse. This must stop. Drain this nefarious swamp now.

It wasn’t a mistake, and the evidence wasn’t destroyed. Computer data never goes away.

If they would just automatically throw everyone involved with “deleted” data in jail in cases like this for at least 20years no chance of parole, in a max security facility...

Very interesting that Pollutico (good name!) got a couple of things right lately. They’re seeing which side of the bread is buttered and it ain’t the left side?

spoliation of evidence is the intentional or negligent withholding, hiding, alteration or destruction of evidence relevant to a legal proceeding.
A judge will typically instruct the jury to weigh spoliation heavily in determining outcomes — meaning it’s very bad for whoever did the spoliation.
Judges could on their own declare mistrial or automatic civil penalties based on the severity of spoliation.
Now, on these FOI suites the plaintiff is suing for the information. If it’s spoliated ... no penalties are involved and no criminal referrals. That’s why this shit happens. No punishment. Hell, the person who takes the blame will traditionally get a promotion.

I dont believe anything was deleted. The NSA built a massive data storage facility in Utah to store a yottabyte - one thousand trillion gigabytes of data. They collect copies of every phone call, fax, email sent - in the world.
If they say something was accidentally deleted, it is a lie. If they say something was deleted, it is a lie.
