Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) told President Donald Trump this week that there will be no deal on Dreamers if hard-line conservative GOP Sen. Tom Cotton is involved, according to several congressional sources.
Schumer also told the president that he was not being well-served by White House staffers during negotiations over the fate of 700,000 young immigrants who face potential deportation if no deal is reached to protect them.

Schumer just authenticated Cotton as the next President of the United States.
Trump has telegraphed that he would sign DACA if the bill eliminated the visa lottery, ends chain migration, and funds the wall. The rats must not care about DACA that much because apparently they aren’t willing to make any concessions.
Of course when Schumer is involved I expect petty and small...
1. After the 1987 amnesty, the agreed-upon border security improvements never happened, and all we got was a lot more illegals. There can be no deal over 'Dreamers' without including a full border security package, including full funding for the wall, not just one-tenth of the funding needed.
2. The Dems are putting the needs of illegals ahead of Americans and our military.
And then tell the Dems to put some ice on it.
I take this to mean Trump's staff is holding the line and not giving in to Schumer.

Well Chuck, the world doesn’t follow your 1990s Dhimmicrat political model anymore. So, bitterly clinging to a discredited ideology in a obsolete model is not something that Conservatives buy into.
To his significant disadvantage (if not outright peril), schumer seems to have forgotten who he is threatening.
