Companies vying to build President Donald Trump’s promised border wall started creating prototypes late last year.
Fisher Sand & Gravel is one of four companies selected to create a prototype for the proposed border wall between the U.S. and Mexico. CEO Tommy Fisher joined today’s show to talk about the measurements and building process proposed by his company.
The proposed design would be built with the goal of a 150-year lifespan.
It would be “solid concrete,” measuring 32 feet high and 2 and a half feet thick.
According to Fisher, the wall could start construction as soon as April if their prototype is selected.
Build it so that in 2000 years, when historians are studying it, they can still see it, and understand the invasion and changes that were happening in 2018.

And what will they be doing until then?
They sound under-motivated to me.
That’s a lot of concrete for only a 150 year lifespan.
It won’t last the next Rat presidency.
They probably have other commitments and need time to ramp up production.
I like the idea of "see through" on the metal fences.
In reality....it'll probably last 500 years.

The ancient chinese would have rounded up the invaders and put them to work building that wall with their bare hands. They didn’t mess around back then.

On another thread was Boeing’s new drone able to carry 500-pounds. Another freeper mentioned he’d like one with a .50 caliber on it.
Put up a cheap 10-foot chainlink fence with razor wire 200’ in on our side of any new wall, and patrol the “no-man’s land” with an armed drone. And mines.
That's how Trump should pitch the idea to the knucklescrapes. "I'm building you a great big, beautiful blank canvas of love."
The Turks, during the Korean War, used only a single strand of plain wire one foot above the ground to keep thieves and so on out of their area.

Trump’s style would be to hire the firm who did Israel’s wall, pay them well, and tell them to get it done in 30 months. Half the Splodey heads would splode. “Impossible!”
They would finish in 15 months, under budget.
Remaining splodey heads would go BOOM. And the wall would be 50 ft.
