If FBI brass was trying to bury the alleged investigation into the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay massacre, that task just got much harder.
According to FBI sources with direct knowledge of the FBI probe of the Oct. 1 deadly shooting, federal agents have not seen any surveillance video showing alleged gunman Stephen Paddock loading up his hotel suite with rifles and ammunition.
No one has seen that on the video we were provided by MGM, a FBI source said. Vegas (PD) has looked at the same video. Paddock is on surveillance video but the guns are not. Hes not carrying bags or cases with rifles.
How did more than 12 assault rifles get into Paddocks hotel suite then?
FBI sources noted that there could in fact be video proof of Paddock transporting a dozen guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition to his 32nd-floor hotel suite in Mandalay Bay but MGM Resorts International, who owns the hotel, could be hiding the video.
They (MGM) control the surveillance video, one FBI source said. I have never seen that in any other case. We (the FBI) control the physical evidence.
Paddock supposedly stayed as a guest at Mandalay Bay for several days prior to his alleged role in the rampage which gunned down over 500 people, including 58 who were killed. Yet, FBI sources show no video of him transporting guns to the 32nd floor?
Another mystery in what has become a bizarre national cover-up on many levels of the massacre.
(Freeper note - article closer at source indicates **McCabe** is still in charge of all this investigation)
I recall in early days there was speculation that he may have been able to obtain access to a freight elevator which might not have had camera surveillance. I don’t know if that aspect was ever nailed down (as to whether that was a possibility).
“So boss - we didn't see any of those long camouflage gun bags, and no hard cases with ‘Cabela’s’ stamped on the outside. So beats me how they got them in there.”
The prolonged silence regarding this incident makes no sense. You would think that after months they would at least be able to come up with a plausible story. There is something that is really embarrasing to someone important going on here.
Mudding the waters, fog of war, take your pick
If the American people knew what really happened we would demand scalps.
Not close the department or prosecute
This is idiotic.

“...federal agents have not seen any surveillance video showing alleged gunman Stephen Paddock loading up his hotel suite with rifles and ammunition...”
Maybe if they got the videos they could see them. This will be going on for a career or two...with no answers.
Bingo
.
Its Nevada!

.
Paddock fired no shots and the FBI damn well knows that.
Silencing Paddock was part of the event.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, even if it’s a mass murder.
Thanks for posting this!
All good questions, I just recall the pics of stacked mags and freepers osted links to 100 round double stack mags (not those iffy drums). I also thought some of the pauses were to change mags or to change out a jammed rifle as bump stocks are apparently known for.
Don’t get me wrong on this, I’m not convinced he was the only shooter.
You lost me there.
When I first heard audio taken from the concert on the radio during a break on the night it was happening, I thought there might be multiple shooters using automatic rifles. Hearing it again an hour later during another news break, it sounded like one shooter who would pause before shooting again.
Pure speculation: In the early days, I thought, “why have so many weapons if it was just one person?” Then it occurred to me that that if you had only one or two weapons but many magazines, your weapon(s) would probably foul or jam before you got through all the magazines. But if you only used one or two magazines per weapon and had many weaponseven if different makes but all firing the same calibre round and accepting the same magazinesone person could fire a bunch of clean weapons reliably for a long time without much fear of fouling or jamming. Shoot a magazine, maybe two if it doesn’t foul or jam, drop the weapon and pick up another that’s ready to go. That, to me, would account for the short but noticeable interruptions between long bursts. So I think there were plenty of loaded magazines and also plenty of weapons for one person to keep up a tempo while shooting at fleeing crowd.
That’s how one person could do it that fits the information released. But while I don’t know if there was a second shooter, I do think he didn’t do this alone. Based on the known personal habits of the guy, he doesn’t seem to be the sort to concoct and enact such a plan on his own. I could see him being a patsy for someone else. The whole Saudi Prince assassination attempt angle I’d never even heard nor read about until this evening.
I think the big person of interest is Paddock’s girlfriend from the Philippines. If he was such a loner, how did they meet? I recall the FBI interviewing her, but I don’t know what new information came out of that.
How else could they "just be there" with no surveillance of any means of transportation?
Skin diving => guns lost in boating accidents
Math is numbers of smaller magazines to = 100 rounds instead of a single big one. More reliable, in my opinion.
________
They may have noticed that.
OK LOL
There were some links posted to 100 rd double stacks that a couple FReepers said worked pretty good. Forget the brand. You can see one next to one of the rifles in the pics from the room.
