Understanding The Context of Devin Nunes Requests – Obama’s 2016 DOJ/FBI Spying Operation…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Jan 4 2017 | Sundance

As we have walked through the investigative deep weeds of corruption within the FBI (Counterintelligence Division) and DOJ (National Security Division), many people have asked why CTH has not pulled in the ODNI (Clapper) and CIA (Brennan) aspect of the total intelligence community involvement against candidate Donald Trump. There’s been a good reason for that; actually two good reasons.

First, as many of you are aware, the people involved in the entire apparatus are following our investigative research (both sides). We proceed carefully, trying to avoid provoking activity that creates defensive posturing, until the story reaches a point of non-deniability.

The public statements today highlighting the DOJ-NSD FISA warrant documents being delivered tonight to Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes is an example of one of those thresholds crossed.

And Nunes has been doing the work that Sessions should have been doing.

The Treehouse is the GO TO website if you are interested in this. What a great posting and investigative work. I start there each morning now.

Finally, someone who writes clearly and to the point and just says it rather than reams of click bait and self-promoting lead-in. How utterly refreshing. Maybe sundance should start a new school of journalism and expository writing.

I remember when Rogers visited Trump and it was in the news and prominent that an active duty officer would visit PE-DJT without approval or notification.

I cannot recall though whether this was before the storm or after the storm of accusations.

CTH is doing an honest job of putting this together, but it has to be clearer on who was doing what and when with no extraneous emphasis on mid-level players.

Hopefully Nunes will fill in the big picture. It’s no mistake that the new Papadopoulos narrative is being pushed by the DNC. But is it a mere coincidence that the day the DOJ and FBI are going to be ‘forced to provide’, and the Fusion GPS is ‘forced to provide’ are on the same day a mysterious fire breaks out at the Clinton residence?

Great article. Not only did Rogers do the right thing but he is the one that advised Trump the entire campaign was being surveilled and tapped at Trump Tower which was the basis of Trump’s tweet. This is explosive stuff that could call for a special prosecutor to investigate the politicizing of the entire Intelligence community and DOJ under the previous administration.Clapper is one giant sleaze that needs to be prosecuted as well as others

If they start truly investigating Clapper I think they will hit the center of the pus pocket, oozing with slime.

In addition to this stuff regarding the 2016 election Clapper is also tied to “The Hammer”, which was used to spy on critical judges and civilians and to breach both the Florida voter database in 2012 and the HI Department of Health Vital Records database and archives - critical aspects of the 2012 election.

Clapper is an election “fixer”, to put it bluntly. If he is ever truly investigated all this will come out.

“Obama’s political operatives within the DOJ-NSD were using FISA 702(17) surveillance “about inquiries” that would deliver email and phone communication for U.S. people (Trump campaign). The unit would work in coordination with the FBI Counterintelligence Unit (Peter Strzok etc.) To stop the activity NSA Director Mike Rogers initiated a full 702 compliance review. Before the review was complete the DOJ-NSD had enough information for their unlawful FISA warrant which worked retroactively to make the prior FBI surveillance (began in July ’16 per James Comey) lawful. Rogers stopped the process on October 26th 2016. As a result of his not going along, Rogers became a risk; Clapper demanded he be fired.

...

The information the FBI collected, and the stuff Fusion GPS was creating via Christopher Steele, was used to create the Russian Narrative and also to manipulate the FISC into giving them a FISA warrant. ie. “The Insurance Policy”.”

Wow! Big ‘aha’ moment here. This is the very best speculation I have seen on what the insurance policy refers to. Before Rogers got involved they thought the only way they’d ever get caught doing warrantless searches would be if Hillary lost the election. They discussed it and concluded that don’t worry he has no path BUT just in case let’s cover our tracks retroactively by getting a FISA warrant as an insurance policy in case she loses. Hence the furious activity at that time with Fusion GPS meetings and ham radios.

So the warrant is the insurance policy. Previously I thought the spying was the insurance policy and the warrant was the pretext for the spying. But this timeline shows the spying had already happened before the (retroactive?) warrant was obtained.

Wanna bet that President Trump knows all? Lower-level FBI, DOJ, and State Department patriots may become or already are Whistleblowers, ya think?

Roberts was one who was being surveilled at the time of the Obamacare decision, IIRC.

I would like an investigation into who decided who to put under surveillance and why - and how that surveillance was used.

My hope is that Nunes plans to eventually go there, but is first building a case to prosecute the Trump case, because he can catch so many crooks with just that net. I know that Nunes knows about “The Hammer” surveillance, because Larry Klayman was very vocal about having given him the information. Klayman wanted Nunes to come out with it right away. I, too, was disappointed that Nunes didn’t expose this right away, but in looking at what Sundance has written, I’m more hopeful now, that Nunes will eventually get there but is building a case that would justify his going there.

Once Nunes can prove that all these players used their “security” powers in order to try to reverse the vote of the public, it would be justifiable to find out whether these players also used those powers to subvert the Supreme Court. (And it’s highly likely that it has also been used to subvert/bribe Congress) Put all that stuff together, and it is UNDOUBTEDLY treason - trying to subvert everything that makes us the USA.

And the list of surveilled people is huge. Every one of those people was put on the list for a reason. Some of them just to hide the real target of the surveillance (like Joe Arpaio). But nobody could convince me that Eric Holder was not involved in the decision to surveil Joe Arpaio. Holder should be in Gitmo for a dozen reasons but it could be that investigating “The Hammer” could be the thing that finally gets him convicted. Same thing with Lois Lerner. Each instance of this targeted surveillance could net a different criminal within the deep state. Once the M.O is discovered, it would be easier to find the evidence for each subsequent case.

That is my hope. Exposing what was done to Trump, by whom, and how is the first step, and it seems like Nunes is trying to do due diligence. Thank God!

My take is that the ‘low level players’ did the dirty work and were essentially cutouts and sacrificial pawns. I appreciate knowing about them. It provides insight and leads to speculation that the primaries knew what they were doing was beyond illegal, entering into treason and sedition territory and so were setting up the requisite fall guys. Above the primaries, we have Obama, Clinton and the entire zer0 Cabinet.

The relationships between the low level players and the outside players, as well as their relationships with each other are fascinating. It’s like a real-time thriller novel, complete with B-stories (the romantic relationships and the married couples involved)and subplots (the tracer leaks; the involvement of Brit Intelligence; McCain’s role; et al...)

ExTexasRedhead :" Wanna bet that President Trump knows all?.."

Well, he does know now the full extent of the spying, sanctioned and approved by the Obungler adminstration.
I know that there is a Presidential tradition of overlooking the previous administrations character flaws and foibles,
but, at what point do you ignore sedition, and massive collusion in "resist we must", and in illegal criminal behavior ?

Actually my FR experience dates back at least 15 years. Only my 2017 crash required new name.

Whenever I see criticism that “you are new here” I know it is basically worthless since ones newness is irrelevant to the issue of the commentary.
