Microsoft did something with Skype and I went through something like you’re experiencing not too long ago. I don’t even remember how I resolved it but I’m pretty sure the answer was not in the main Microsoft help. I think it had something to do with MS trying to combine everything on my computer.
Many computers and windows updates ago I could do a lot more than I can now.
If your resume’s been out there for a year without any bites then it’s time to change your resume.
