Didn’t Harry Reid tell us junk mail was a good thing?
Its not about the USPS, its about Amazon.
The people who use them are their customers. Why is that surprising?
Idiotic statement.
Decades ago there was a science fiction short story about a man who shut down a postal system by writing a short personal letter to a girl friend. Not only did he ignore his government approved “girl next store” but the computer controlled mail sorting system was unable to sort the letter. So the system shut down and disrupted the nation’s economy for weeks.
Who says science fiction is only fiction?
I wanted to read what this was all about and the link goes to Sacramento Pizza Man??
DUH!
You are the product of the USPS not the customer... same is true if social media companies.
This has been true at least since the 90s, when I worked there.
They can’t blame this on Trump. Junk mail accounts are ALL they care about. And it’s been that way for DECADES.
How can you beat that?
I don’t mind junk mail at all. It’s easy to throw away. And they’re supporting a valuable service that allows me to send physical documents and packages at low cost. Send me more junk mail, please.
2 - Pat Donahoe hasn't been Postmaster General for quite some time
For some reason I get lots and lots of catalogues. I apologized to my mailman a couple weeks ago because they are heavy when you are holding at least 12 of them.
I didn’t get my xmas scam USPS eamil about a package I never ordered this year ,slackers
Junk mail is pretty much the only thing keeping the remnants of the American printing industry alive.
A Postal management guy using the J-word? Horrors!
Living out in the middle of nowhere, I have found it more convenient to have a mail box at the UPS Store in town. I usually check it once a week or so. Most of the time I walk away empty handed as all the mail jamming the box was junk which wound up in the trash. Notable exception to this is Netflix DVDs :)
For me, the biggest advantage is that, unlike USPS, they send me an email when I receive a package.
Do you have a working link?
