You mentioned making the service better for our customers; but the American citizens arent our customersabout 400 junk mailers are our customers. US Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe to Outbox founder Evan Baehr
This was after Baehr tried to start a high tech service using letters digitzed into email to benefit consumers.
Trump has jumped the shark.
You got rick rolled.
All that dye may not be good for the plants. And, some if it may get sucked up into your tomatoes.
People with tattoos are just beginning to realize that the dye in their skin from their tattoos can/is having serious health effects.
Bad news for tattoos - Many tattoo inks contain dangerous heavy metals, phthalates and hydrocarbons
“If I got my mail every other day I would be fine. Fewer trips to the garbage can that way.”
I pick up my mail one a week. By the time I hit the garage on the way back, all the junk mail is separated and ready for trashing.
for those of us that heat with a wood stove. Fire Starter.
>>If I got my mail every other day I would be fine. Fewer trips to the garbage can that way.
I get mine about once a week...95% junk anyway and I throw it out right at the postoffice.
This has been true at least since the 90s, when I worked there.
They can’t blame this on Trump. Junk mail accounts are ALL they care about. And it’s been that way for DECADES.
How can you beat that?
I don’t mind junk mail at all. It’s easy to throw away. And they’re supporting a valuable service that allows me to send physical documents and packages at low cost. Send me more junk mail, please.
2 - Pat Donahoe hasn't been Postmaster General for quite some time
Not that sort of garden bed.
They took the trash can out of our PO lobby LOL.
Don't do that, play a little game with them. They don't get charged for that return postage until it is used. I return other junk mail in their return envelopes. For example, I will return a Visa application in the mortgage brokers return envelope.
They could have put a box number on it and charged for it...everybody could forward their junk there.
Wins all around!
Hmmmm.... Interesting idea.
What if you just wrote "return to sender" or "not at this address" on it and put it in the outgoing box?
“Yeah - but they give special rates to deliver a bunch of trash that gets tossed out”......
It’s called creating jobs.
For some reason I get lots and lots of catalogues. I apologized to my mailman a couple weeks ago because they are heavy when you are holding at least 12 of them.
I didn’t get my xmas scam USPS eamil about a package I never ordered this year ,slackers
Junk mail is pretty much the only thing keeping the remnants of the American printing industry alive.
if you do the “return to sender” the post office just throws it away - adding to their expenses of trash removal. If you send it back to the company who sent it, that company pays for the postage to deliver it as well as the expense of trash removal. Eventually they will stop sending you crap, which is what you wanted in the first place. And you had some fun at the same time.
Its not about the USPS, its about Amazon.
It always amazed me that the post office wasnt able to capitalize on package delivery. Theyre already going to every address in the friggin country. Instead we have a minimum of 4 trucks driving the same roads daily.
