This along with Rugers announcement of two budget priced handguns.
Well drive the prices of firearms of all defensive firearms down.
Thanks for posting. Merry Christmas BUMP!
It’s always a temptation to buy another deal. But, when the stockings are full where do you put another gift?
I still might be in the market for a quality AR platform .308. What do you Recommend?
Up another gun or more ammo? Less marital stress buying ammo.
I recommend building your own to fit your own requirements. If you can change a car starter you can build am AR.
I’ve done business with Del-Ton.
They make fine products. Quality is excellent. Buy with confidence
Don’t forget the $25 FFL transfer fee
Hard to believe I bought my first AR-15 COLT new in Tulsa OK back in 1971. It cost $200.
I traded it a few years later for another rifle I will not tell you about. Yes,it was a stupid trade, but muzzleloader mania has no bounds when it hits.
Wow, forged 7075 T6 Aluminum upper and lower, too. For that price, you usually only got a polymer lower.
Ive built two AR variants using stripped Del-Ton lowers. Both used DPMS lower parts kits. One was finished with a DPMS upper, the other was an off-brand. Both have worked flawlessly.
Have you checked out Quackenbush air rifles ?

A constant dollar calculator says $200 in 1971 would be $1,009 today.

At that time, 1970, you could buy a NIB Winchester 1894 carbine for $45.00.

You have my attention. More info please.
Tons of info on AR15.com and youtube. Select your barrel, pick the trigger details etc. It is a great workbench project.

Santa brought me a Smith & Wesson M&P-15 for Christmas. Wifey picked it up used for $550 and it looks like it’s never been shot.
I think it was a good deal. List price is over a thousand bucks.
