You may already be following it but Renova therapeutics is entering Phase 3 clinicals with an AC6 gene transfer therapy to improve the cardiac ejection fraction in heart failure patients. The vector is a modified adenovirus targeted to the heart muscle cells. It just got fast-tracked by FDA.
I am not aware of that specific AAV-mediated gene therapy, but right now, one of my research teams is testing another AAV-mediated gene therapy. We are trying to move testing to a higher level, hopefully on track to FDA approval.
I guess the trick is to match the viral binding domain to the receptors on the targeted cells but there’s so much more - the transport proteins and of course preventing viral replication. I’m conversant in the subject as it regards influenza A viruses but not so much other viruses.

There’s no getting around how important Trans-Humanism will be in the coming year(s).
Every Tech, AI, & Commerce Company is looking at it and trying to take advantage of this technology for profit first and control second.
Any fool who thinks they can ‘enhance’ themselves with this sort of technology might as well get the flu shot to prevent this years “flu”.
The warning against mixing genetics and technology for commerce and enhancements has been around since the days of Noah.
