Of the many astonishing revelations now emerging from the Russia investigation, not enough has been made of the fact that Peter Strzok -- that Zelig of the FBI who mysteriously appeared at every controversial moment -- was second in command for counterintelligence.
That's right, counterintelligence -- that activity "designed to prevent or thwart spying, intelligence gathering, and sabotage by an enemy or other foreign entity."
And yet that same Mr. Strzok was conducting a clandestine extra-marital affair with an FBI colleague over thousands of text messages that could be and likely were (more of that in a moment) intercepted by those same foreign intelligence agencies -- or were, at the very least, recklessly exposed to them.
Now you don't have to be James Jesus Angleton or even have read a novel by John le Carré to know one of the most important vulnerabilities in the intel world is just such dangerous liaisons, frequently used for blackmail of all sorts.

In the 1950’s we would hear horror stories of the KGB ‘fixing’ elections... ‘those poor people in Russia didn’t really have the vote’.
Now with our effing crooks in the FBI we’re no different. Is that really what the thugs wanted? To destroy everything wonderful about our country because ‘effing intelligence thugs’ thought they were smarter than the people?
Treason - set them before a jury, convict and put them to death.

All the people working for Bernie Madoff weren’t crooks - wern’t dirty... but in the end it didn’t matter.
Madoff’s group was a criminal organization at the top and had to be shut down. Didn’t matter that most of the folks working for Bernie Madoff were ‘good people’ - the ORGANIZATION was criminal.
Same with the FBI. Working to overthrown the votes of citizens is a crime. Trying to take down a duly elected President by working with the foreign entities is treason.
Don’t matter how big the buffet is, any ship captained by weasel Comey is a garbage scow.
I believe you are on point. All heads must roll from the top down. They were paid to be responsible. Then they throw the underlings under the bus. Throw them all out together and the worse should be in Prison.
I was really referring to the administrators, directors and supervisors, not the rank and file, though I’m sure the corruption has tainted some of them as well...............

There’s no Constitutional authority for an agency like the FBI anyway.
The FBI needs a kick-ass Director like a young Rudi Giuliani, not some political appointee stooge who merely shuffles paper and warms a seat, BSing his way along kissing butt to appease the politicians.
