Leftist Judges are now running the Pentagon
US Defense Watch ^ | December 11, 2017 | Ray Starmann

Oh rejoice! It’s another victory for leftists and another nail in the coffin for the US military. This would be nail number 2,485.

According to Bloomberg News Service and the Associated Press: the Pentagon is allowing transgender people to enlist in the military beginning Jan. 1, despite President Donald Trump’s opposition.

Oh rejoice! Another victory for diversity! Of course our enemies like North Korea and ISIS and Iran wouldn’t know diversity if it drove over them with a bus full of lactating Airborne Rangers, but don’t tell the Pentagon that.

Oh rejoice! Another victory for political correctness! The military has to be sensitive to everyone’s needs, even if that means completely sending readiness down the Pentagon commode.

The new policy reflects growing legal pressure on the issue, and the difficult hurdles the federal government would have to cross to enforce Trump’s demand to ban transgender individuals from the military. Two federal courts already have ruled against the ban. Part of one ruling required the government to allow transgender individuals to enlist beginning Jan. 1, 2018.

The government had asked that the Jan. 1 requirement be put on hold while the appeal proceeds. The Pentagon move Monday signals the growing sense within the government that authorities are likely to lose the legal fight.

So, there you have it in a nutshell. Federal judges who are so left wing they make McGovern look like John Birch are now dictating US defense policy to a Pentagon filled to the brim with social justice warriors.

Of course the Pentagon could take the case to the Supreme Court, but I doubt there’s enough fight in the building to do that.

I have stopped asking myself if General Mattis is coming to the rescue. Mattis was last seen fleeing the Pentagon in a M113 under the cover of red smoke. Maybe General ‘Fighting Joe’ Dunford will do something.

Yeah…

It really is a trifecta of doom running the show now in the Pentagon: loony federal judges with San Francisco values, the LGBT mafia in the military and feminist nuts like Kristin Gillibrand in Congress, a real warrior if there ever was one, are now deciding defense policy while the generals look on, adjust their fruit salad and calculate how many more days on active duty they have left.

The fact that the GUYS we’ll be going up against in a war don’t adhere to our soft principles is irrelevant. What is important is that the military is now an equal opportunity employer. We have to give everyone a chance to serve, from that guy in your high school class who read fashion magazines to mommies who want to drive a tank. National security be damned!

Once upon a time the US military had standards. Its leaders understood that the military had one mission – to kill people and break things. The military was for war fighting, not a petri dish for social experimentation. In 2017, the military still claims to have standards, but the lies are wearing thin, which brings me to this bit of news from Major David Eastburn, a Pentagon spokesman.

According to Eastburn, potential transgender recruits will have to overcome a lengthy and strict set of physical, medical and mental conditions that make it possible, though difficult, for them to join the armed services. Eastburn told The Associated Press on Monday that the new guidelines mean the Pentagon can disqualify potential recruits with gender dysphoria, a history of medical treatments associated with gender transition and those who underwent reconstruction. But such recruits are allowed in if a medical provider certifies they’ve been clinically stable in the preferred sex for 18 months and are free of significant distress or impairment in social, occupational or other important areas.

Transgender recruits. Let that one sink for a bit…

It’s obvious that leftist federal judges will now block any attempt by the President and/or Sleeping Dog Mattis to amend the social engineering polices implemented by Obama, Martin Dempsey and Ash Carter.

Imagine the outcry by liberals if Mattis somehow found the nerve to overturn Carter’s directive authorizing women to serve in the combat arms. The Pentagon would be hit by a couple thousand lawsuits from Gloria Allred, Mattis would be labeled a homophobic, Islamophobic racist on MSNBC and the eventual over-riding of anything Mattis authorized would be plucked apart by some federal judge who hangs out with the Antifa on Saturdays.

So, what’s the future of the military’s warrior culture? There is none. The train has left the station and the train, is not only never coming back, but it’s headed straight off a cliff. And, no, Steven Segal won’t be saving the day.

The greatest danger to the military and our nation now is that the idiots determining defense policy believe that the armed forces are no different than corporations, except the military wears uniforms and sends cold steel down range, if they can even do that anymore.

In a combat arms unit, aka the guys who actually fight and win wars – infantry, armor, armored cavalry, artillery and the myriad of special operations units, the warrior culture is everything. Without a warrior culture, a warrior spirit and leaders who are in fact actually warriors and not E-Ring feather merchants, a combat unit is totally worthless.

Every one of the social changes in the military in the last 20 years has taken the air out of the military’s warrior culture from pushing women into the combat arms, from women flying combat aircraft, to open homosexuality, to transgenders serving, to the toxic feminism running rampant in the services now.

For a combat unit to function well, aka killing bad guys violently and swiftly, a unit needs to have zero distractions. That means there must be no high school romances going on, no gay love triangles, no pumping breast milk in the field, no men believing they’re women and vice versa. The Band of Brothers camaraderie is real and has existed since the dawn of time. It is what enables men to fight and fight well. Without it; a unit, an army, a nation is doomed to destruction.

In 2017, the barbarians are no longer at the gates of the Pentagon, they are inside and they are raping, pillaging and plundering what is left of the US military.

It’s time to give the US military a Viking funeral. Load it up on a ship, start it on fire and let it drift down the Potomac in a giant conflagration until it is reduced into the smoldering embers of yesteryear.

It seems that every order or decree President Trump issues is stopped by some court or some committee or other as if he were no one in particular. Where is his authority?

His authority is in the Constitution, and in his hand, but the President is shrewd enough to know that he must first build up his loyal forces within the government, before dropping the iron fist on his enemies.

He's choosing his battles carefully, while keeping the enemy off balance, and leading them into trap after trap.

The Deep State and the left truly have no idea what they're up against.

Is, or is not, the POTUS the commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces? Does, or does not, the POTUS form military policy with the U.S.? Unlawfully disobeying the orders of a superior officer is frowned upon. Bigly.

Trump’s DOD should simply have announced that the Commander-in-Chief’s directive is absolute and not subject to judicial review.

That bears repeating.

"Trump should tell the federal judges to go pound sand because HE is the CIC and not them."

I agree wholeheartedly with your statement. Yet we know the Present would be sitting in the impeachment dock for obstruction of justice within the month.

Trump needs to tell Mattis that no transgenders will be joining the military.
Mattis either follows his order or he gets fired. Trump then needs to tell his AG to appeal the Obama judges decision to the Supreme Court. Dammit Trump is the Commander in Chief, not Mattis. He needs to quit being bossed around by these generals, every damn one of the prmoted under Obama.

The Constitution was never meant to give all power to one branch.
