President Trump: traitor? That seemed to be what a Chris Matthews guest was suggesting this evening.
Appearing on Hardball, former FBI agent Clint Watts, an MSNBC national security analyst, said that in criticizing the FBI, President Trump:
is an enemy of the state.
An enemy of the state has been defined as a person accused of certain crimes against the state, such as treason.

The FBI is hopelessly corrupt. It needs to be disbanded. If the people of the US feel a real need for an incompetent, politicized and corrupt national police force after it is gone, we could always start a replacement.

Clint Watts doesnt have any authority and cannot declare any an enemy of the state.Clint Watts criticized the choice of Wray as FBI director. Does that make Watts an "enemy of the state".

It’s time to start taking out some of these people. And, of course, I mean on a date.

Oh please. Enough of this faggotry and phony outrage.
Anyone think that it would be unpatriotic to criticize J.Edgar Hoover for some of his FIB activities?

I am thrilled to hear the left using such words.
Maybe they’ll start shooting soon.
Well, one can hope right?

True enough. Just like Winston was an enemy of the state in 1984.

MSNBC Natl Security Analyst Clin Twatts suggests that criticizing the FBI is verboten.
The State shall not be questioned!
We've seen this play before, Herr Twatts.
The MSM are enemies of the people!
And an unofficial agency of the State.

Agreed. The FBI has become hopelessly politicized and is useless in its present state. I echo another commenter up the thread .... where the hell is Sessions!?

Well, since the state is an enemy of the people, then being an enemy of the state is a good thing.

No. What a freak of a statement. The FBI is NOT an branch of government by itself. How I wish the President would just gut the FBI and start afresh

What a totolitarian this POS is. In America the President is the highest elective office and the top of the Executive Branch. He can say anything he wants about the job performance of any federal employee or department in the federal bureaucracy and they have to take it.
Personally the Congress only has the Power of the Purse and under the Constitution he can fire or hire anyone he wants at any time for any reason. Congress can only cut funding truth be told despite whatever laws Congress has passed.
