If pedophiles in high places even once hit the front pages, I will be very surprised. Very, very surprised.

8. Mickey Mouse will be accused of sexual harassment by Minnie Mouse.
9. Donald Duck will be accused of sexual harassment and giving her the bird by Daisy Duck.
10. Olive Oyl will accuse Brutus of sexual harassment.
11. Snow White will accuse the 7 Dwarfs of sexually molesting her while she was sleeping.

etc etc etc

The next? Well, the media is going to continue to be cleaned out BUT will extend into exposure of blackmail, corruption, payola and favorable reporting towards the Democrats by media. Does anyone really believe no one knew about Matt Lauer, and just what NBC did to keep it quiet?

But the key is that the media must think the scandal will benefit Democrats.
That’s what they thought the sex harassment scandal would do,.

This is actually quite easy. You just need to step up the abstraction curve and consider elements within a macro perspective. Something like this:

Normies vs weirdos, losers & freaks. The left is comprised of five main advocacy groups: women, minorities, religion, race & non-capitalist. The left controls a couple of essential industries, dominated of course by government, entertainment, media & education.

Ok, so now construct a 2-dimensional array with the 4 leftist interest groups across the x-axis, and the 4 industry dominated segments along the y-axis. You now have a 4x4 matrix, which produces 16 intersecting results.

Each of these represents your next "scandal class". Simply go down the women line and ID each industry. Government? Check? Entertainment? Check. Academia? Coming up. Or, go to non-capitalist and government: corruption, bribery, treason.

See how easy this is? Actually, the identification isn't the hard part, the difficulty lies in both proper timing and venue(s) for outing all of these activities. That's why Trump is a genius; it's not the information per se, it's the presentation or rather, the reveal.

The leftists aren't stupid - these weaknesses on their part has always been evident to anyone with a clue. Their power was controlling the gatekeepers and establishing the narrative(s) to shout down any outcry in he public square.

With the walls breached and no rear guard available, it's an all out route instead of a controlled retreat.

How many members of congress are under BLACKMAIL CONTROL and dance like puppets to those who hold the strings.

It’s MUCH more valuable to control a leader than to banish him from office.

Thats is what I see as well, and it is why they have been fighting so hard. We are looking at an FDR level of revolution in the United States.

Thanks for the matrix idea. Looks useful. Anyway you see to monetize it? Short certain industries?

Looks a bit too chaotic for that to me, but may be possible.

Well put. I was making that case to a friend of mine the other day.

It is hard to believe, with so much power at stake, that D.C is not chock full of honey traps. Of course, Conservatives would be more vulnerable, because they could not count on being protected by the establishment media.

Shouldn’t be a large problem for a clever trapper...

I'm long across the board. The basic core of Western civilization is ambition: competition over scarce resources and the search to improve - not to just survive, but to prosper. It's not necessarily racially oriented, but rather the result of guns, germs and steel. To wit, advanced powers have been fighting since the days before the Assyrians. It may not be fair, it may not be virtuous, it may be just because of geography. However, it doesn't matter - it is what it is.

Trump - like Reagan - understands that if you reduce restrictions and "release the hounds", all kinds of unforetold results will occur. Western man has been tied down by virtual Lilliputians, in order to give the losers, freaks & weirdos a chance (see: affirmative action). But now the worm as turned - it's why the markets are up, unemployment down: the smart money knows history.

These episodes go in cycles. Eventually, there will be enough losers, freaks & weirdos (the lazy & stupid left behind) to create yet another coalition to tie to the innovators. But that might be generations away. For now, the players are playing.

Distractions/ignoring whatever - that’s semantics. I’m pointing out the same problem that you are - the mainstream media ignores important news when the American people are to be kept in the dark.

What I have noticed is that there are often sexy scandals hitting the news and reported on over and over. If you then do some research, there are usually more important stories that are being totally ignored.

This happens so often, that as soon as I hear some “sex” scandal reported, I immediately wonder what really important news is being ignored.

The mainstream media all to often just pushes a narrative instead of the truth - especially TV news. The script sounds almost the same no matter which of the corporate news channels/programs are watched.

The cable news stations could do some real in depth stories and provide a valuable service - they choose not to.

I am in essentially the same position. I wrote this essay two weeks before the election:

2056: Looking Backward from a Trump Future

http://gunwatch.blogspot.com/2016/11/2056-restoration-of-united-states-was.html

Here is a snippet:

The four decades since 2016 have seen a breathtaking restoration of the Republic of the United States of America. Looking back from 2056, the historians and pundits say it was inevitable.

The United States had enormous energy resources, an educated and ethical workforce, a history of entrepreneurial spirit. The fruits of the digital industrial age, genome processing, and robotic development were on the edge of explosion. The resurgence back from the malaise and blame America thinking of the Obama administration was certain to happen, with a wealthy, prosperous, powerful and free America the obvious result.

It wasn’t that way. I was there. To use an anachronism, “America was going down”. The Clinton crime machine was expected to take over the country. The establishment media were in their pocket. The Department of Justice was on their side. All the “smart’ people wrote that Hillary Clinton would be the next president... and that she deserved it. The American reformation would have been strangled before it ever started, with a rope woven of political correctness, fake climate change dogma, Clinton corruption, immigrant demographics and massive media collusion with the Clinton machine.

Nice. In many ways, it was a close call. I still remark to my wife - at least once a month - that it seemed like it was all over. That we came "this close" to lights out.

And yet, history isn't static. It's a constant fight of individual vs state. Even if Cankles had won and the (original) republic destroyed, somewhere, some time, the counter revolution would have begun.

In the fight over scarce resources, there are always two parties: winners & losers. The leader of the winners is by definition a winner. The leader of the losers is always a cynical, Machiavellian character who recognizes power can be consolidated/accrued by a smooth liar.

These events run in cycles. Right now, the winners are back in control. How long this lasts is anyone's guess, but nothing lasts forever. Eventually, there will be an army of losers, freaks & weirdos who will march to the siren song of yet another fraud.

Probably non-profits. A lot of those are being used to either fund the lifestyles of the ones at the top, or are being misused for political aims.

It’s so glaringly obvious. Every data-base has been hacked, that’s a known fact.

The Awan Bros had the keys to the kingdom in Congress, I’m sure they found the treasure trove of sex scandals.

Not to mention Hillary and her FBI files, and everything in between.
