It makes me sick to think I voted for that incompetent boob. If it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have been saddled with eight years of the affirmative action President and our country would be immeasurably stronger.
I will still vote for any Republican over any Democrat. They would have just gotten us to a our bad position sooner if he’d have lost.

Don't feel too bad. Bush is what the Uniparty gave us. We can only take what's on offer. The other alternatives were the wretched Al Gore or John Kerry. If those are still the only choices, I still choose Bush - although I probably wouldn't participate if such a choice came around again in the future.
The financial crisis of 2008, Obama, Iraq, McCain, our massive, frozen-in-amber government, and above all Trump's candidacy, have taught me a lot about how Washington, our political system, our monetary system, and our elites, really operate. I realize now the Bush family were insiders, just like the Clintons. Yes, there were some surface differences, but none that really matter. I didn't understand that in 2000.
Not necessarily true. We got Obama more likely because he was running against Hillary, who after two elections was defeated. On the Republican side the choices were McCain, and his stifling of Sarah Palin hurt him, followed by Mitt Romney who couldn’t finish off an embattled Obama. Worse yet, Paul Ryan couldn’t outwit the pervert from Delaware, Biden.
